I lived in Japan 16 years and now just watch various RUclips videos to keep up with my Japanese, and I think you have a very good style, at least for me. This was a nice story with a theme that kept me interested; I picked up a few words/phrase that I was not completely sure of, too! So for me your style is just about right. Please do not give up RUclips and continue what you are doing. I look forward to your next video.
Edit: I just saw you are fully booked for private lessons so I was disappointed to say the least. I plan to visit my daughter and 3 grandchildren next spring in Tokyo so wanted to work on getting my conversational ability back to where it used to be.

Im trying to learn japanese but it is hard. I've learnt most of the hiragana and katakana but havent looked too much into kanji yet since I want to master the hiragana and katakana first. I did recognize some words and phrases here and there in your video but I have yet to be able to put a sentence together (the structure is a little tricky). Your videos are very helpful. Thank you so much for providing us with such good content! ありがとう ! :)

I really enjoy your videos and the lessons you create. As I slowly work towards my goal of understanding Japanese.
I also think that it would be great to see cultural and scenic videos when you return to Japan.
Hope you continue to make fun and entertaining videos for your fans and students to enjoy.

Thank you for this video and all your other work, it IS helpful, don't doubt yourself keep recording for as long as you enjoy it! I understood about 80% of this vid without the subs, i love how slowly and clearly you speak!
I can see its been over 2 months since this video was posted so i doubt you will see this but ill say it anyway. If you really like islands and the sea that much and since you enjoy Spain then i have a feeling you will love Greece (the islands part) or Cyprus(south). Personally i recommend Cyprus, not many Japanese have even heard about it and even fewer have visited and i think you will like it.

Okinawa is really beautiful, i think it's a good choice, but for those who want to see more traditional Japan i recommend visiting Kyoto for those who don't know it like me, Okinawa is more tropical i've never been there but i saw pictures and i really liked it, and of course Mount Fuji is a place that should not be left behind, i also like less crowded places like cities.

I was surprised to find out you live in Spain. I am British, but have been living in Murcia, Spain for the last 25 years, since I married a Spanish lady. I always heard that the Japanese loved all things Spanish, that there is some kind of special attraction. Is that true?

I could understand words in every sentence, but I´m still not good enpugh to understand everything. I think it´s a great idea to widen your RUclips with more about japanese culture. It will probably help your channel grow. Good countries to visit in Europe is Italy, France, England and the Scandinavian countries. Scandinavians are very good at english, so that won´t be a problem. You probably noticed that in Iceland.

Mochi sensei I told you before I want to learn Japanese so I bought a membership of duolingo, can you tell me if they use "textbook speech" (how it’s in a textbook) or do they use "natural speech" (the way you would talk) way to teaching?
Because before subscribing to your classes I want a firm and good foundation so not to waste your time
Oh and can you tell us about pronunciation pitch?

One of my previous comments referred to how you're touching (obviously, not in the physical sense) a lot of people with your vids. Well, I still believe its still true and I believe that there are more and more people taking notice of your videos, and both your effort and dedication, as time passes... "Bumps on the road" (so to speak) are normal and appear in various ways and forms so, my opinion, you shouldn't stop that easily. 👍
(Edit: ... I feel like I'm forgetting some - - Oh wait, that would imply having some kind of friendship and trust... My bad, since I don't even know if its even possible. Oh my... 🤦‍♂)
(2nd edit: That was embarrassing, and still embarrassing after a few hours.🤦‍♂)
(3rd edit: Editing posts clear reactions to it... come on, youtube...🤦‍♂)
I understand that it may feel more complicated (perhaps less enjoyable, or both) when the daily routine is so different in Spain from what you were used to when you were living in Japan (also, I believe you made a good decision... Returning to Japan, that is.), I mean, a lot of things you did before are (most likely) not possible in Spain...
I know I had a huge lack of enthusiasm during the past 4 months, I couldn't see (or even listening) any of your videos properly, until I changed from a routine that was imposed on me by someone else (I might have regressed on the reading aspect of Japanese text syllables because of it, so I'll have to compensate that by watching previous N5 and N4 vids again.). Now, I can finally either see or listening them again, because of that slight routine change. Perhaps changing different elements of your routine would have a similar result? 🤔
If you are interested, somehow, you can try to visit Portugal, Azores archipelago or Madeira... If you do visit Portugal, I believe I should be available to go around... Can't make any promises though...
Oh yeah, I have no idea how Summer is in Japan but be careful during Summer in a southern European country (the ones in direct contact with the Mediterranean Sea), as temperatures in some areas can potentially hit up to 50 C, especially during active forest fires in nearby regions (Not necessary to be within the geographical territory of Barcelona for such high temperatures to happen).
Anyway, I'm definitely looking forward to learn more, despite my unusual and uncertain active hours. 👍
