I honestly think shes too attached and put all her eggs into that basket for conner already and its jot smart to do that because its best to keep options open in case but shes too controlling and blames him for things and expects wayy too much u have to realize what u get is what u get and u cnt change a guy
i most definitely think her heart is in the right place. she’s been hurt in the past and has a lot of anxiety she probably hasn’t processed yet so she becomes manipulative. she needs to get to a point where she can be like “hey this is a thing that happens with me that i can’t control but i know it’s irrational so please work with me and know it’s not your fault” because she truly seems like such a sweet girl and i’m sure connor thinks so as well. sometimes you gotta lose a really good one in order to grow on your own and realize these things. or i could be completely wrong!! i don’t know her and all i see is what the producers want me to see haha
kiwi i think mackenzie is still insecure and that she needs to learn to lover herself before she can have someone else in her life bcc its true look at her noww shes not confident she doesn't trust conner and blows up on him i think she really needs to have time with herslef and find out who she is as a person and thenn can go find someone to be with

Honestly, only halfway through this video but this has truly helped me see James in a new light. I forget sometimes that Love Island shows us only one hour out of their whole day. Love island portrayed James in a sort of manipulative and insecure way but hearing him now makes his actions make sense haha. James has my respect again for sure. I hope he’s doing well!

I feel like with how much drama was lacked in S1 (y’all were still cute!), production is doing everything in its power to create more dramatic story lines and it may be coming at a disservice to these islander’s true natures (first Kaitlynn, now James).

I knew he wasn’t crazy. Just based on how things were going on the show with them. The second a new guy came in, the energy changed. He got worried, because she got distant. Rather than her communicating, she wasn’t feeling him any more - she made him feel like crap like he was a problem for her. When he was trying to figure out what he did and how to make it better. James you dodged a bullet.
Yes, so confused by her! She clearly wanted to move onto Calvin and it is obvious she was looking for a reason to quit talking to James. I’m surprised there are people who think James was in the wrong, I rewatched episode and still don’t see what he did wrong

I'm from India. Recently I see "Love Island", and it really hurts me how James was backstabbing by his lover,whom he was genuine. But just one dating everything was changed,like there was no felling for James only care about Moira. No one said that the guy was so much heartbroken and pain from inside. Further,he was accused. I really knew one thing that Moira said James showing his "true colour". But, when season progressed we saw the who had wearing the "true colour of camouflage". No one point out about Moira's full of guilty with relationship after relationship,and backstabbing other girls. Yes, there was some issue with James but they should avoid that obstacles and feel fresh in their relationship. But I thought James was actually lucky to not had with her, because in future he could get in real trouble with troublesome girl like Moira. On other side we could see the mutual respect between "Cely and Johnny",they were till at last with each other. In addition, Mackenzie was responsible for breaking the relationship of James and Moira. And in return, that snake finally bite her, once whom she supporting to stay away from James.

@@l.Marissa.l If you only show someones reaction to something, of course they're going to look cuckoo. They only showed him reacting to a very dismissive Moira, they didn't show us exactly what got him there as he and other islanders came out and said.
I think he seems like a nice guy now that's explained his perspective.
However, I do think he's a person that's not very good at reading signals or reading the room. I think he has a hard time knowing how people are feeling when he interacts with them unless they flat out say so. Like when he explained the sex conversation, I do believe him when he says that he meant it for outside the villa, but I still think that was a conversation Moira wasn't ready or comfortable to have, and I don't think he really caught onto that...

I promise you he didn't mean that. I once went on a date with James and he tried to get in my pants that day. I told him I wanted to get to know him and he told me the see thing he told Moira ...he emphasized that sex was SUPER important to him and let me know he wasn't interested in another date unless I was dtf. Later his brother matched with me online and I immediately noticed they were brothers and told him what happened. He told me James had a girlfriend and shouldn't have been talking to anyone else. James is selfish and only cares about getting laid. He's also exhibits signs of narcissism, insecurity and very controlling behavior.

People are saying he’s manic, but when you are naturally talkative but are also kind of an introvert to the point where shopping alone is a happy place, it can be nervewracking to do things like this. That’s the kind of energy I’m getting from him. But it’s sweet how much he asked both of their opinions in a genuine way!

Even if things are just a short clip of a long day or without additional context, some of the ways he acted were inexcusable. His apologies seemed very "I'm sorry, but..." Hopefully being on the show is a learning and growing experience

Just because kierstan ended up not being into him doesn’t mean he turned her down lol. That should’ve been brought up. Bad editing also doesn’t account for his gaslighting and saying to Calvin “there’s something wrong with the girl you chose” and “you can have her.” He seems cool don’t get me wrong, but a lot more should’ve been brought up for the sake of keeping it real.

@@LaciRae 5th day and 5th date is VERY DIFFERENT. You are also a shitty person if you try to force or pressure someone to have sex with you, especially early in a relationship. My first relationship I didn't pressure her to have sex. I was so patient and that patience ran out after 2 years into it and we still didint go to 3rd base...I had to break it off at that point as I wouldn't want to force her into it.

Moira aka miss easily smitten literally went from someone who liked her to not clicking with anyone and crying about it. Calvin don’t like her like that and now boring Connor. They have no spark. At least with James it would have been interesting

Idk, I really didn’t like the way he acted. From the minute he got back, he asked the guys if he should take it as a red flag or be upset if she didn’t immediately go and talk to him and tell him everything. He bombarded her with questions, and while yes she should have communicated better and not just stayed silently, he could obviously see that she didn’t want to talk. Then he kept ranting to everyone on the island about what went on, told everyone there was an issue with her, and then when he pulled her aside the first time, tried to gaslight her into believing that she was the only one at fault, he said he did nothing wrong, and I get he apologized, but it’s like Moira said, he never asked her if she was okay. He just wanted her to forget what happened. Obviously we can’t judge him from a few hours of a heavily edited show that may have purposely tried to make him out to be manipulative, but this behavior isn’t okay. He knew what he was signing up for when he went on a show that was all about dating different people. Idk, I just don’t like it. No disrespect to anyone else’s opinion.

Bille yes I did listen to what he said and I’m not faulting him because I understand it was an extremely stressful situation and not everything was shown. However those snippets they showed did in fact happen and even if it’s not the full story they depict a very strong and disrespectful reaction to the situation that I don’t believe just happened in a vacuum. And just because I believe he needs to go to therapy doesn’t mean I’m judging him. I personally go to therapy to work on some of my behavior and I just recognized that it might be helpful for him to improve.
