  • Wait, what? Another racket nobody asked for? Yeah guys, the Tecnifibre T-Rebound 298 endorsed by Iga Swiatek. You've probably never heard about it but trust us, it's definitely worth trying out. Combination of a 98inch head and a 16x19 string pattern + some Tecnifibre technologies that I cannot bother to remember the names of, gives us an awesome racket that seems to be great at literally everything. The only drawback it has is... Oh, wait, no, watch the video ;)

    In the beginning I thought you guys were just silly, now I crack up laughing 😂. But seriously, review the Tfight RS300. It plays a lot like this one I hear, but it’s a bit softer. I own a pair and have a hard time faulting it, but yes it needs more weight. It’s one that’s always overlooked because of the 305, which is also good but much harder to play with.

    Heh, we all love them anyway! Wonderful video! I don't dig the design and paint-job of this frame though. 😅 New racquets these days have soo many different technologies in them, that it starts sounding excessive no? 😂 Also, I love the humor, it gets me every time! Keep this up, and keep reviewing racquets that nobody asked for!🤣💯 Also I do be loving that *Kings & Queens of England* poster on that door at the start of the video heh 👑😁! Also that *Every WTA players ranking* chart, I just can't hold my laughter because it's 💯 true but also kind of sad!😔🤣 Nice touch of humor! 💯

    Hi guys, it would be awesome if you could tell something about the Stringbed. Unfortunately the current trend goes to even more open Stringbeds in the center whichs pruduces a lot of spin amd string movement but you lose a lot of feel and control (especially on flatter strokes) cause it feels a bit mushy. Also the launch angle gets really high. Would be great if could tell a few words about that in your videos.
    For me the string pattern makes the biggest part in how a racquet feels and plays.

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  2 года назад +1

      You're right, the string pattern and density are very important aspects in rackets. Some of the most important ones for sure. We will get into the topic of it in a future video!

  • @CH-yp5by

    Cool looking racquet but very stiff frame, strings for me would need to be at a lower tension like around 45lb or less for full polly setup to save my arm! As you two noted the low weight makes it easy to customise this seems to be a trend with the on or about 300g racquet weight club. aka Ezone, Extreme Tour. Nice review on a cool looking stick :)

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  2 года назад +1

      Thanks, definitely agree with you! Not sure if it's the coolest looking frame😂😂 but on everything else, for sure!

  • @pedrodmnmartins

    Nice one. I was deciding between a few of these 98s and the iga was one of the racquets in the shortlist. Ended up going for the head extreme tour cause it's less stiffness and i was worried about my wrist not handling this stiffer racquets.
    I wish you guys would make the videos in two parts, like before and after customization, with like always same approximate weight, sw, bal, etc. Easy to do with tennis warehouse university tools i think ...and maybe a comparison videos between these closed spec racquets, like this one and de head et, pure drive vs, yonex vcore/ezone 98 etc...
    hope you don't mind the suggestions.
    cheers

    Something looks very uncomfortable about the way Grish was playing with this racquet. All your baseline strokes looked so laboured and forced - despite the positive review, it doesn't look like you enjoyed playing with it very much. Your movements didn't look very natural or graceful.
    Areg is just always beautifully majestic; when he mentioned his backhand slice didn't feel great I wrote this racquet off immediately - shouldn't mess with perfection.
    Sofia can keep it.

    Hello Barcelona, 71 stiffness? wow. Areg should switch to this racquet, never played this good. I watch Iga a lot, but it looks like she struggles with precision sometimes, and she plays with lot of spin, has extreme grip. Grisha why your arm disslocates, i felt today it could happen to me. weird feeling i stopped hitting hard not sure why it happens?

    Thanks for reviewing more TF racquets, they are a personal favorite due to the prevalence of foam filling. I enjoy your rating system at the end of each video and it is helpful since it is mostly just two of you trying out racquets. Would you consider adding an additional rating category around comfort or arm-friendliness? Thanks and keep up the amazing work.

    Swaitek has no offense and the only major she could win was the French. She got absolutely destroyed by Collins at AO. Score doesn't really reflect how one sided that was. I don't watch her unless it's against someone I like.
