Ms Lodge you were a legend! What a beautiful soul! So firm yet so soft and graceful. So eloquent yet so humble! Your penmanship was comparable to none! Ms Lodge you had the best interest of everyone you encountered at heart. Powerful leader yet so gentle in your approach! I really loved you Ms Lodge! I am so glad that you were able to meet my children. They were so distressed at your passing. They experienced you at Munro Prep, they were able to be groomed by my incredible principal.I attribute my educational prowess to the start that you and the staff at Epping Forest game me! I don’t think I would have gone to Hampton without the persistent Ms Lodge, who took the trip to the Ministry of Education to question why Epping had no passes that year! Lo and behold Effie, Annmarie , myself, (I can’t remember the other student-old age) had passed the common entrance , yet our names were omitted from the report in the gleaner! I am forever grateful to you Ms Lodge! I saved your beautifully hand written response to the letter I had written to you long after I had graduated college. I had to let you know how very appreciative I’ve been for the influence you’ve had in mine and my children’s lives! Sleep well Ms Lodge. Know that your remarkable life has etched indelible marks in our hearts . Gone but never forgotten. Love you Ms. Lodge! Mother to so many , yet no children of your own. Heaven has received an angel.Michaelyn Jarrett( Myki Mitchell)
