Do pop tops let heat in when it’s hot out and the AC is running? Or cold when it’s cold out and the heat is running? And losing watts of solar power with the pop top make that much of a difference?
The same class B we've seen a million times. 100% not a Westfalia in anything but name. If someone brought back the real Westfalia, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
It also has dimmers!! Love that and a counter top extension you can pull out. Just wonder about the bathroom window how is it protected from the shower water if the curtain doesn't go around all the way? Can't wait to see it on the Ford it looks amazing.
Hi! Since you have one would you mind answering my questions. Been trying to find out how you protect the bathroom window from the shower water? Since the curtain doesn't go all the way around doesn't the window fill up w water ? Also is there a dry toilet paper holder ? Really like this van 😊
Hi Jon, is there a good way to contact you to hear about your experience if you feel comfortable sharing? I have one pre-ordered and I don’t know anybody who has received theirs yet so congratulations and I hope you’re enjoying it!
@@kirbykracklemusic You may have heard by now, but production has stopped and orders are being canceled. Something with an electrical system problem that they aren't able to resolve. I've heard three different stories about why they can't fill the order from the RT rep, the dealership, and the RT cust svc person, including that there's a problem with the roof of the factory--what?? Looking at a Storyteller now.
Call RT and ask them if you have a recall on an electrical part--the Rep told me that there's a recall in the works. Don't fall for excuses. Get it in writing if they tell you there's no problem.
So you're calling this a 2025, but the chassis is 2024, and they've not produced the 2025 model yet. Production has stopped due to an issue with an electrical system that they're not able to resolve and that will necessitate a recall on some electrical part. Several different stories from different sources. It's too bad--they sell a nearly identical unit in Europe, the James Cook. Probably with far fewer toxic fumes and materials. Why can't we have nice things?
I heard at the Hersey RV show that they were going to make a smaller chassis Westfalia. I cant get any info on what the rep told me...and who cares about the gray tank water.
It's the same floor plan, just with some space shaved off the back of the garage. Pictures will be up on our website soon, or if you would like to see them early, you can reach out to Austin at 352-337-0776 or austin@sunshinestatervs. com and he would love to help you out with the SRT
I like this coach, but I don't like the galley, sink and stove right next to each other. Also, the bathroom door, I wish they make it as sliding door, like other coaches. Lastly, I want the microwave to be air fly combo type.
La Mesa RV in San Diego was offering it for 156k for the non-poptop. Add around 11k for the poptop. But production has ceased, so they're not selling them.
Prices can fluctuate over time. We would love to chat with you about it. Give us a ring at 352-337-0776 and ask for Austin or email him at austin@sunshinestatervs. com and he would love to help you out!
I would use the propane for the outdoor barbecue as described in the video and an electric cooktop for inside. The portable induction cooktops are cheap, just buy one and use it and the propane can be a backup. With 4 season camping, when daylight hours are too low for solar in the winter the propane will be handy.
Informative tour. Thank you Nick. The van is beautiful.
It definitely is. Thank you for watching!
The propane tank placement is scary asf
It's in the same spot Roadtrek puts theirs and we haven't seen any customers have issues with it in the many Roadtrek vans we've sold
Love your videos!!
Thank you for watching!
Is this band four seasons

What is the propane powering? Just the cooktop burner or the heat as well?
The propane is for the cooktop, the hot water, and the furnace
Really nice, only thing I don’t like is the small fridge.
It's all a game of tradeoffs with these RVs
Plenty of storage, room for a portable electric cooler in back.

We love to hear it! Here's to many amazing adventures to come 🥂

Onboard generator or just solar/battery? Maybe I missed it. ..
Love it!
We do too!
Wow ! Love that
We do too!
Nice van but if it can house 4 people, the cassette toilet with a 5 gallon capacity would need dumping every day.
How do you get warranty work done in the United States?
Through the network of Westfalia and Roadtrek dealers in the US. Any of them can perform warranty work
Is there a max air fan?
There is not, but it does have a sizeable skylight

The Westfalia Wave is a 2025 model. Most class B RVs are built on the previous year chassis so a 2024 chassis for a 2025 build
@@sunshinestatervs Did they ever intend to deliver the vans before Autumn?
Yes, and we have already had orders come in and get delivered to our wonderful customers
Hello Nick and crew,. When will they build it on a Ford Transit all wheel drive??
These just rolled out on the Promaster so it will likely be up to a year before they reveal a new model
that's not a FL color nice but other colors - that color is a heat sink white or even silver?
I heard at the Hersey RV show that they were going to make a smaller chassis Westfalia. I cant get any info on what the rep told me...and who cares about the gray tank water.
They did begin producing the Wave SRT which we have one of in stock right now!

KS2

You mean built on the FIAT Ducato chassis.
No tv??
Hey Nick!
I know that RV Resort
😊😊😊😊😊😊

MSRP is in the description.

I love it, just needs a TV.
One could be added if that is a deal breaker!
LG Stanbyme Go on the closed sink for rear bed movie night!
It's still a 2 wheel promaster and it's still a no for me
Do you like Fords over Rams ? I’m not for either, I wish Toyota vans came here
@kimdagnillo8246 ill take a ford over a Ram or Mercedes in a heartbeat
@kimdagnillo8246 the ford is a bigger chassis plus it's all wheel drive

We would love to go over pricing with you, just give us a ring at 352-337-0776 and ask for Austin, he would love to help you out.

Propane!!! Why? Great modification and you don't get rid of the propane.?
Shame it has propane when so many vans these days have lithium and electric cooktops.

Give it to me plssss 😰🙏🙏🙏❤️🩹
We'd love to help you get one!
For 186K I’ll take a Leisure Unity
That is MSRP pricing, not where the RV will actually be priced at
