I recently ordered Daisy in the color 44 salt/pepper mix, and it looked like a gray mullet. I ordered a petite size but it was extremely large on my head with lots of room on the crown. I tried spritzing with water and some finger styling but it still looked like mullet. After having a good laugh at myself, I’ve returned it. I’ve had very few wigs that I have had to return but never one that made me laugh at myself.

@@cocoshairsolutions Mornin Coco! There are so many reviewers out there reviewing longer wigs. I prefer collar length or a little shorter, with loose curls. I’m on a limited budget, so I shop $39.99 or less. I wear lighter shades. I just discovered Sugar and Spice. That’s my new fav. I’m not quite ready for a true gray, and Sugar/Spice is a nice compromise for me.
I saw a video once where the reviewer suggested putting a small amt of Downy in a water bottle b/c it will freshen up wigs and aid in styling. I found that it weighs the fibers down with a stiffer feel, and I have been unable to restore fiber back to original feel. Any suggestions?

good afternoon(here in the Pacific Northwest)/evening to you in the southeast!! Sugar & Spice is a GREAT color!!! I have that color in one of my toppers and she’s so pretty. And I have to tell you that I’m with you in the length of my personal wigs-realistically anything longer than my shoulders is too much for me in everyday wear. Plus longer wigs require more diligent care and wear out faster than shorter wigs because of all the friction they experience. I will continue looking for shorter wigs! I’m sorry about your wig and the fabric softener. I have heard of doing things like that but I’ve never done it. I have always had good results with products made just for wigs and have been too scared to try anything else. But I could understand trying it if you’re on a tight budget. Are your fibers frayed or just stiff? Is your wig curly or straight? How old is your wig? All these answers could determine if your wig is salvageable or not. But if you can get her again for $39, that may be the best answer and then be very careful with her. Let me know….thanks so much for watching my video and hanging out with me! Hugs!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@cocoshairsolutions By the time I started realizing that the small Amy of fabric softener was the culprit, it was too late. I just brought Ryan (after eating g your review), and have worn her to work once! I wonder if a soak in wig shampoo water might help. I have already washed her once but didn’t soak her. While Ryan is on sale for $39.99, I think I might. Good tip!!
@@cocoshairsolutions the fibers are a little stiff on my brand new Ryan that I’ve worn only once. The fibers are straight, not frayed. I used a spray bottle of a little Downy in 12-14 Fl oz water that I sprayed to remove box hair. Would you recommend soaking in wig shampoo water for 30 minutes or so? I’ve only been wearing wigs for a year …. Thank you in advance for your advice. 😊

Hi Coco, I preferred Cody until you played with Casey a bit, then I preferred Casey. But they are both adorable on you. Casey looked a bit “matronly” until you pieced her out a bit. Great video!
Hi Debbie! I agree! Casey’s cut is such that it can look very subdued or a little more “Rock in’” And of course I prefer the Rockin’ !!! Both are great pixies and give us great versatility but one things for sure, how we style these wigs can certainly make us look a little more trendy and in the best cases, younger! Your comparisons are very helpful!! Definitely have the same "problem" with the jawline, I'd like to try pixies for summer, but anything at or shorter then my jawline seems to bring out too much of it.
Hi Mari! That doggone jawline! Lol! That’s why I like the Bixies with razor feathering around the face! You can bring that hairline forward to cover the corner of the jaw to hide it and pull the edges away from your eyes and cheeks to bring attention there!. You can even use a little darker powder or contour on the corners of the jaw to disguise it too. You might try these approaches and see what happens! Be sure to let me know!! Hugs!! ❤️❤️❤️

Greetings Coco! I spent so many years with a pixie and not being able to grow my hair out that I've never bought one. By the way, do your wigs ever make your hearing aids screech? Mine do that... Very annoying. Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Greetings Jean!! I’ve only had trouble with my hearing aids when my wig cap was too close to my hearing aid or on top of it. Is that a possibility for you? I keep my wig grip band away from my hearing aid too because that’ll also cause it to screech (and it’s really uncomfortable, too!). I hope you get to the bottom of this-you’re right-it’s very annoying!!! Hugs!! ❤️❤️❤️
I just got Casey. She has only a tiny bit of fibers in front of the ears, but otherwise I like her. I chose Buttered Toast.
