their evidence is a lot of badly out of context group chat screenshots between the redditers without date, time, or names, none of their proof has boyinaband in it, its just them talking to each other.

I really hope that they both get what's best for each of them. Also, I would note that Dave has been known to struggle with depression and the like, and if he ends up seeming like he's ignoring this, I don't think he would do so intentionally. This sort of thing can hurt, and I think us as their fans and community should give them both a lot of understanding and benefit of the doubt, no matter what happens.
Also also, super happy to see something like this from you Dan! This sort of genuineness and honesty is so impressive. Love your work!
As someone who struggles with depression and anxiety as well, I feel this on a deep level. I rarely meet up with my friends anymore because I just can't feel arsed to be honest. Hanging out with people and putting in a happy mask really exhausts me. Even with the friends who know my struggle, deep down they still expect me to be cheery and bubbly as I used to be or at least deep down I think so, so it makes it extra hard to do anything
ZombiStayDead reminds me somewhat of the Tomska and Bing drama on a more muted level. That reunion vid was one of the happiest videos i had ever seen on youtube. If you havent seen it you need to. Its on bings channel

The impressive part is how fast Dan did this. Dave and crew probably had their song done for a long time so they could post it right away. But Dan only had 1 week to make this fire track.

Actually Dave and gang rushed it too pretty much. Watch behind the scenes. They wanted to make it ready when TS goes past Pewds, they got some extra time but they still published it late.
They did it in 37 hours straight without sleep.
Roomie actually was up for 48, he took an 11 hour flight back from LA to do that.
I mean they actually made it back in october. But they still had to rush it because they didn't know when Pewds would be overtaken.

Quite possible. But it's also possible Dave is holding a grudge because Dan pushed him away out of jealousy. Dave said things in the past that make me think he's not the kind to look behind or to change his mind easily.. And he's in a very negative headspace very often.. :(

As someone with Asperger’s syndrome I totally relate to Dan “losing” David’s friendship.
Couple of things.
One: let's not overlook how good this video is. It not only emulated the original (which was done well), but there were some very strong moments on top of it. Like when Idubbz had his arm around Dan and then in the next frame when he says "subtracted" IDubbz is making the "L" sign. Plus when he says "now you're clearly bigger than me" Dave is rubbing money in Dan's face--I know that's not the spirit of the clip, but it's just evocative. Just powerful stuff here. Two: You're looking good, Dan--you're not a second class RUclips citizen. Your time in the sun is coming.
