A while back, I realized I had become one of those judgmental people I hated. Which yes, is another judgement. I've been working hard on reprogramming that among other things. It takes time, or at least for me it has. I was so judgmental of myself too. Im so grateful it's falling away! Thanks for this video!🙏🏻🥰
I've observed myself judging myself for judging others. Then I address this issue by accepting it's a condition in which we have all been programmed to do. From there I work on resolving how to not judge myself and to realize we are all perfectly imperfect beings.
I love how you use yourself as an example, it really makes me feel more human, a human who is trying. Very wise words and truth, thank you 🙏🏻 I get overwhelmed at times and forget to take time for myself.
I just want the Divine to chase away the Fitz purpose of the community cuz people then meet your Miracle to change your way to the peace with the war but he's with the word animal people dying everyday it's not as funny people die every day you like to see that don't you but I don't like to see that because people are human being they not animal that human life okay they are Mom and Dad father grandpa mother brother sister don't you care about those people is not about your growth is about people about humidity community
This is essentially what Jesus meant when he advised people to take the plank out of their own eye before they comment on the speck in someone else's eye. If you're making judgments it means you can't see very clearly.
You're right. I believe Jesus meant what other traditions would call the third eye, or the ability to see and sense someone's hurt and life with clarity. But our capacity to see is only as clear as our own level of resolving our own attachments to our own experiences. When we carry and try to hide pain or judgment from our own past, that will cloud our ability to see someone else clearly. Looking through that filter of our own pain, we think it is their pain. And we can't really see them clearly.
Often when we judge, we do so without all the information. We make A LOT of assumptions. I hate being judged, so I do my best not to judge others. Discernment is a different deal.
I really appreciate this video. Shame and Judgment and Guilt what I live my life trying to avoid. this helps me think of it differently. Can you do a video on healing childhood trauma or how to feel your feelings? I hope my request makes sense. If you have had a lot of trauma...you probably know what I am asking for. Thank you so much for being kind enough to share your journey with us.
It seems we're more disgusted at our differences rather than the people themselves, especially when you want them to grow to the same stage as you because you love them so much but they overlook you. We have to do our best to see our differences as opportunities to deepen and have faith that truth seeks truth and is inevitable. Some of us seek with all our heart because were simply ready to. That readiness was there before we became aware of it conceptually.
I concur with almost everything you say in many of your videos. Your thoughts reflects my inner world. For that I’m very grateful as it makes me feel less alone. But, and please guide me if I’m wrong, there’s a fine line between judging people as good or bad and discerning who I want to spend time with. While one can hypothesize that the universe brings people to you in order to facilitate growth, and it’s always best to lovingly deal with people regardless of how they affect you, there are certain people I’d rather spend more time with and less time with. I discern who those people will be based on what I see. You seem to assess that discernment as judgment. And maybe it is, but I judge or discern things about people that either draw me to them, possibly in order to facilitate my growth, or make me less desirous of spending time with them. It is about determining whether a person is a good or bad fit for me on my spiritual journey. It’s not about anyone being ‘good or bad’. I do the best I can to treat everyone as lovingly as I can, and step aside when people are being abusive or hurtful, and inwardly offer compassion but staying out of their way. I try not to judge people as good or bad (although I’m not always successful at that). Bit I just discern whether I care to get close or not. And yes, the people who affect me negatively are opportunities to see parts of myself that need a light shined on them. I’m always grateful for that. But until I work that out, I don’t want to spend all my time with people who keep pushing my buttons. I wondered what you thought of that perspective.
I can relate to this. The people you spend the most time with tend to influence you a lot so it makes sense to gravitate towards those you want to become like. My lack of discernment in this area never did me any favours, it just wore me out !
I would draw the line between judgment and discernment as being between an elevation of self and opportunity to put someone else down (judgment) vs. a simple analysis of someone (discernment). you can look at the flaws and negative or positive attributes within someone else without attaching them to yourself in anyway. It’s natural and correct to draw yourself towards energy that fits you best and that you resonate with but unnatural to judge and mental demean others for their own outlook or output. Just a thought Cheers !
I used to have compassion and help others because I once was there and I understand how hard it is to be there and feel alone. But then I got used and judged because I didn't know some stuff or I refused to help some people because sometimes you can only help someone so much before you yourself become so drained. Now I just hate others and don't care to help people. And when I do say anything I just sound crazy. But this video has helped me on better understanding judgement as so many people say they don't judge others but I find that hard to believe as we are only human and judging others is a big part of what we do rather we do it knowingly or unknowingly, we're doing it. Ive been just keeping to myself lately and working in healing myself as it's an everyday process. Thank you for your videos! It's good to hear someone being genuinely honest and not some "I'm enlightened and reached the light" and blah blah.
If a person, place or thing leaves me feeling dirty and not clean inside,it my way of protecting myself, sometime the spiritual community can be hurtful and painful Thank you for sharing your journey with us
Thank you Nada. Beautiful. We're all on different journeys with unique egos and paths but are the same in the essence of Source energy within our heart that created us. Love is our common denominator. Being present to ourselves while remaining centered in our heart is how we grow in awareness. You explained this so beautifully. We're all a work in progress. Recognizing that within ourselves which we perceive externally is an important part of waking up. Love to you and all on your path.
Unfortunately I can be very critical and judgmental. First and foremost of myself, but of others also. When I catch myself being critical of others behavior, I try to think ....”yeah, and when is the last time I was angry or selfish or prideful, or egotistical, or cut someone off in traffic”. It never takes me long to think of myself behaving in a similar way. I happen to think being aware and admitting it is a big step, and if you’re watching this video you might be further along the right path than you think. If you didn’t care you probably wouldn’t have the courage to watch this and confront yourself,
I listened to your videos while I did manual labor yesterday. I listens to like 2 of yours and a Terrance McKenna talk while I picked rocks out of a recently tilled field. Really enjoyed your content and I felt really good after. Allot of what you say speaks to me and what I’m struggling with right now
This video resonates so much more with me than the videos where you talk about toxic people, and people who are disrespectful, etc. This one strikes me as a shift from those videos - I see you made this later. Thank you for discussing letting go of judgment. Judgment results in so much division and lack of empathy in the world.
I've seen this process play out in doing harm reduction work with substance use. A lot of people turn to spirituality to address their drug use, yet they lose their tolerance of people who are still struggling with the same behaviors they used to have. It's just a part of the recovery community and it plays out in public policy debates on how to help address substance use.
I love the way you speak. In the same way I speak to myself in internal monologue & self reflection. Through speaking through yourself you speak volumes to me upon the same issue. We all are human & are all one in the same. Our perceptions just differ.
You're putting yourself out there with a pure heart to help others like me, who really need to hear what you have to say. In doing something so beautiful you are exposing yourself to being judged. I love the way that you have turned this into a positive, its not only given you content for your channel, but a living example to annotate your messages 🥰

I enjoy your descriptions of what spiritually does and does not occur between people in everyday life. Thank you for these videos, well paced for my understanding.
Nice thoughts. I notice a lot of projection from people who use judgment and superiority to put others down and it is because they themselves are insecure/confused. It's bizarre and really counter intuitive. I wish people could heal themselves! It could be such a better world if people would just work on themselves more, I think, not only for the world but for themselves 🙂
when it comes to judging someone's spirituality, i definitely agree, its pretty pointless to evaluate anyone but your own's progress, but its important not to throw the baby out with the bathwater (not that youre suggesting we should). sometimes people are nefarious, and you cant always set aside your judgment as by default inaccurate, or a projection. sometimes, you do need to make a call about whats worth keeping in your life, or how close things should be kept. we should just focus on keeping our discernments clear as possible.
Each of us have our own gifts. Some have grown further in one area and another in an other. Sometimes the innocent and naive, the childlike and eager, grow faster. Those people sometimes "bypass" those who think they're mature and superior. Maybe I sound judgemental now that I have been judged as spiritually inferior.
I found this subject very helpful, words have a way of Penetrating our hearts and our minds , as you speaking I could feel my mind trying to sort out and compartmentalize where they belong somewhere in my heart or mind ..
I understand this in the abstract, and I agree. However, there are those who have committed horrible acts including potentially criminal acts and then subsequently wrap themselves in spiritual cloaks and declare themselves spiritual. I have known parents guilty of kidnapping their children and then heading out on a spiritual path with a mantra of "don't judge me!" I very often see spirituality as a very convenient manner in which to exonerate oneself from all responsibility for one's actions. In another video the concept of self acceptance is discussed, to me self acceptance must include absolute responsibility for all of one's actions before offering to the world one's spiritual bona fides. Does this make sense?
I have lots of questions to ask regarding this "spiritual awakening" it happens i dunno whom i will talk too. When i heard the way you talk and deliver your words of wisdoms your the right person i was looking for, for longest time... Anyhow thank you for this video.🙏🙏🙏
Why should I care about their journey? I respond to kindness with kindness and I respond to hostility with hostility. I suppose that there is a better way that is less stressful, but I am surrounded by evil people. Every day is a personal struggle.
Through my experience in life, and this is just my belief. Religion and spirituality are to different things. Religion to me is a set of rules or laws that you except to live by to belong to that cult, which ever one you choose. Weather you are spiritual or not is not for someone else to determine. Only the individual who is on there own journey into or in spirituality can know when, how and how deeply it flows through them. For my spirituality is always there but on different levels at different times and I am the only one who can truly know.

Good question, I’ve been a caregiver for 9 years. When I get a new person I will read a lot of information about them. I have to analyze their behaviors, what causes them and act accordingly but I don’t judge them for said behavior, I will get to know that person. That may or may not help.
Allow them to be where they are, we shouldn't expect anything else from them. I have been struggling with that : trying not to be upset by my husband who regularly judges other people 😕 i told myself many times the exact same thing you said : i am juging him for being judgemental and that sounds not too reasonable. I guess sometimes, we think that judging someone for a "bad" behavior only shows we disapprove the behavior when in actuality, it shows we disapprove the person. But the person is not the behaviors... 🤔❤

I've also noticed a really popular thing that people do is to just put themselves first, but in a selfish sense. The new thing or fad is to make it all about the self but I see that that is only half or part of the whole solution 🤔
What about ppl with NPD(narcissistic personality disorder) ppl?? Their intention is destruction. I learned to see their traits and not to react nor go into their games. But if you are arround them, it will cost you! So ignor them and stay away is the solution for me.

What about ppl with NPD(narcissistic personality disorder) ppl?? Their intention is destruction. I learned to see their traits and not to react nor go into their games. But if you are arround them, it will cost you! So ignor them and stay away is the solution for me.
We are just passing through in this life. At least we must help or leave a mark. Adopt a kid. Or Change someone bad mindset into good. Could help.
