I agree with your ranking of Horseshoe at #3. It's such fantastic value. And I love the poker room there.
Great video but Caesars Palace sucks! Check-in is a total nightmare and the staff not very nice. They used to be the NICEST! What happened??
Check in is a nightmare at all Caesars properties! It’s their trademark.
Absolutely nailed it on Rio. I've stayed there twice and I think I had blinders on the first time, because I saw ALL the issues with it on the second visit last year. My son and I stayed at Harrah's this year and found it a lot cleaner and more functional than Rio. Plus, being pretty much at the center of all the other properties on the Strip made it a lot easier to get around on foot. Only thing I'd say I would complain about Harrah's is that their basic two queen size rooms are just waaaay too small. If there'd been more than just the two of us in there, it would have gotten really crowded, really quick.
I liked this video. I subscribed 😊
Thanks so much!
Ok, awesome job Ashden and Jordan ! I’m MGM guy myself .. but Rio at the bottom? Jordan, I thought after Flamingo experience thought they’d be dead last 😂… love the gold “ Vegas” tee, dope! 👊🏽.. bloopers are hilarious we all thought you did it in 1 TAKE!! 😂 ..
You’ll never believe where the tee shirt came from… ABC on the strip! Thanks as always!!
@@ShowMeVegas HAHA!! NIIICE!!
Well done. I can’t disagree. I love staying at horseshoe!
For the Flamingo, I think its essential you stay at one of the newly renovated Flamingo Rooms. I wouldn't go to the Flamingo if they didn't have any Flamingo Rooms available, the GO or FAB rooms are just too outdated.
I like the horseshoe. It’s a nice bargain and it’s walkable, you don’t have to walk far in the heat anywhere. The problem is that it has a tragic history and I have a problem staying in the rooms. I saw an older crowd there. When it was built it was the largest, most grand hotel in the world. The saving grace is that the fire improved safety standards in buildings forever, and probably saved lives in the long run.
If I’m being totally honest I didn’t like being in the hotel tower (hallways, elevators, and to a lesser extent, the room) at night. It had a weird energy, and of course we know the history so maybe that was just my mind playing tricks on me. Thanks as always for watching!
@@ShowMeVegasyeah those places are where they found the most people. On the positive side, what a lucky break that they had those ornamental balconies.
ALL ABOUT CIRCA
It’s not a Caesars property, so…
what a crap line up caesars has.
I am a MGM guy, just can't get enthusiastic about anything Caesar's owns.
Yeah, they really need to improve the customer experience. I can’t imagine standing in one of those lines. I’d be crying out “we are like prisoners being denied food”.
You can say that again…
I agree, I'm a MGM guy as well. The first time my wife and I went to Vegas together we stayed at Caesars Palace, it was nice and we had fun but since then it's been MGM all the way. Thanks for your rankings.
Spent some time at Caesar’s Palace (Honestly the only one I’d consider) before a show and yeah, I’m good. I’ll still go to shows and MAYBE get a meal there, but MGM & Wynn get my money.
Caesars is great, Cromwell is really good. Their budget properties suck.
great video.. ceaser property collection looks like a dump... but i would say they are closer to Monorail system which makes it easy . (i think $6 per one way ticket) Paris Paris and Horsehoe look like best value.
I gamble at the two ceasars casinos near Indy, so I have massive comps at ceasars properties in vegas - thus, that's where I usually stay. last time was this spring at the horseshoe. my room was nice and I did most of my gabling there, mostly due to reasonable table limits. I stayed at paris when it was new and loved it - got married at ballys - that did not last very long. :-) I would really like to try out some of the mgm hotels, but it's hard to pass up free hrooms at ceasars.
I just wish the Caesars properties would get rid of the 2 device rule for WiFi and stop charging for more than 2 devices in a room. Total BS. MGM doesn't have that rule and if you go with more than 2 people it's a BIG dealbreaker!
Horseshoe over Planet Hollywood is silly, but the rest checks out.
My stay at Harrahs was surprisingly pleasant. I stayed 2 nights (weekdays), and they actually offered a free upgrade to either strip view or high roller/sphere view! I chose sphere view and not going to lie, that sphere kept us entertained 😂. My total for the stay was $144, which I thought was pretty cheap! Our room was great, very clean, comfy beds, no crowded elevators, but again, I stayed Tuesday and Wednesday. The location is great! And you are absolutely right, there isn't a lot to do in this property. I would definitely stay here again!
Caesar’s should have bought the Cosmopolitan. They really dropped the ball on that. Caesar’s doesn’t have a modern hotel that could compete with the Aria, Cosmo, Resorts or Wynn. The key thing about Caesar’s is their rooms come with a refrigerator. Major plus.
That’s absolutely right. The best Caesar’s has to offer would rank well below the top of the MGM resorts.
I stayed 3 nights at horseshoe casino april 2023. It was a pleasant stay and affordable. Room was big and comfortable. My main issue is the elevators. Too difficult to get an elevator when checking out.
I will be staying at Planet Hollywood in February. I will be seeing Adele in concert. Previously I have stayed at Caesar's Palace twice & not at other Caesar's properties thus far. I love Caesar's Palace but it was too expensive for my February trip so I chose Planet Hollywood instead.
We'll have a video coming up on Planet Hollywood just in time for your trip, then! Stay tuned!
My ranking would probably be…
#9: Flamingo . Very bad experience staying there
#8: Rio. Never stayed, visited a few times. I would much rather stay there, even if it is off-Strip, than Flamingo
#7-6: Cromwell/Harrah’s. Also never stayed at either. Fun to visit but far too party-oriented for my tastes to want to stay there.
5: Horseshoe: First place i ever stayed in Vegas even if it was Bally’s then (okay, absolute first was the Super8 attached to Ellis Island, but only because I’ overestimated how long it would take me to drive from Ohio to Vegas but it was only one night) A sentimental favorite though i don’t really care for the ‘container city’ they constructed out front.
#4: I’ll stick the Cromwell here simply because it was Barbary Coast the last time I visited and have only seen it in videos since. Too close to Flamingo for my liking.
#3 Planet Hollywood. Lovely in 2001 when it was the new, and newly-opened Aladdin. Still fun to visit since the rebranding but I never stayed there as PH.
#2: Paris. Beautiful. Maybe the best room I ever stayed in anywhere. Great dining options and just fun to see anywhere you go.
#1: Caesars’ Palace. Never stayed, visited every time I went to Vegas. Labyrinthine and tricky to navigate the casino floor, however, it just oozes intimacy despite the size. As ever-changing as Vegas can be, Caesars’ has been able to change right along and still be one of the city’s crown jewels. That’s worth the top spot just for that.
Seems like Caesars neglects all their properties. Out front of Caesars itself there is a lot of broken concrete and trip hazards. Of course we know Vici properties owns these casinos, but it still seems like Caesars is responsible for maintaining them
It would be interesting to see a head-to-head of MGM's top 10 vs. Caesar's top 10. I don't think Caesar's would do well.
I was going to say the same thing. I think the top ranked resorts might be close but would actually like to see how the mid to lower ranked hotels compared to each other.
I think the Vegas paradise did the comparison
Caesars would not fare well at all. Half of their properties would be battling Excalibur at the bottom of the list. Thanks for watching!
I was going to post the same thing. My only complaint about the MGM rankings is I think that Vdara does and should stand on its own. I get the it's part of Aria argument, but it's also unique. I think that would be a great video and a good watcher poll if possible.
I really like most of the Caesars properties but rarely ever stay at them as they almost never have decent comps so it is hard to pay out of pocket when I can get several nights free at some of the mid t o lower end MGM properties. It seems like they used to have a lot better deals and offers back before the merger with Eldorado and they also had a lot better service. ever since the merger I feel like most of the properties have gone down hill. I have stayed at the Paris, Bally's and Flamingo in the past and really liked the stays and would love to stay at some of their other properties as I love the location for most of them right in t he middle of the strip but haven't been able to yet.
My problem with Caesars vs MGM is that all of the Caesars properties reek of cigarette smoke. I mostly just avoid them. I’ve also seen non stop comments from RUclipsrs saying their check in is a nightmare. I guess Cromwell looks the most chill. CP always gives me a headache and makes me feel lost, no matter how many times I go there.
Cesars properties are a mess… not to mention the criminal element that trolls their properties.
Haven't heard of anyone being shot and killed in their own room lately other than Cesars..
I actually think you guys nailed it. Horseshoe is super underrated now that it’s done. The rooms are big, clean, and they have a fridge. Plus it has a monorail stop very close to the hotel tower and I’d only commit to the monorail stop if I was at one of the hotels with a monorail stop. I may even put it second above Paris just because I always found Paris a tad tacky and I actually prefer the pool at the horseshoe. It has a deep end and a diving board!
I haven't stayed at Paris, but based on what I've seen of the rooms etc, I would likely also place Horseshoe above it. Horseshoe is such great value.
You ranked Excalibur last among MGM properties. Where would it fit in your rankings if it was a Caesar's property? I'm really curious to hear your response! Thanks for another informative video.
Honestly, it would probably only rank above the Rio. Luxor, on the other hand, would rank above Rio, Harrah’s, Linq, and Flamingo in our our book. Thanks as always for watching.
good video, agree with the rankings. I guess I'm a snob, I literally wouldn't stay at any of them. Wynn and the top MGM sites so much nicer
We are not Caesars people, for sure. Thanks for watching!
SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO!!!! Starting sentences with SO and using SO as a useless filler word throughout each sentence proves that the dumbing down of America is no myth. We used to enjoy your vids but no longer, we've unsubscribed.
What a loss. Imagine being triggered by something so petty… Good riddance.
@@ShowMeVegas So, I guess entertainment should now be run through a grammar checker prior to posting in this person's mind? I disagree. So very much. Carry on with the great content. Oh, and before I forget to say it, we here in our household so appreciate your work and find it very helpful when deciding where and what to do in Vegas. A town that changes so much you typically see something new on each trip. We don't find the fraction of a second it takes to say the word so a problem at all and wouldn't care to describe that as filler. Fillers aren't bad anyway, say, like drum fills. They can make a song so much more enjoyable. So, with all that said, we're going to continue being subscribers and continue to look forward to your new content.
for the location and price Harrah's was cheap w air fare etc .. My son and 2 friends went sat -thurs and including taxes plane etc they were under 950 for 3 people 2019. I stay at venetian but always liked walking to Harrahs in morning and getting breakfast buffet when it was open
Sad what happened to Rio, the only reason to go there now is for Penn & Teller!
Watching this it makes me realize that Caesars own a lot of the budget and older more neglected properties like Linq, Harrahs, Rio etc. Although I wouldn't want to stay at these places I do think they have a role to play in the larger ecosystem of the strip where almost everywhere is now high end and expensive. As an extension to that we are staying at Planet Hollywood next summer, our key reason is it's mid-range pricing, fantastic location and has great cheap food options with the miracle mile plus easy access to Paris for WSOP. I didn't realise Cromwell was owned by Caesers but other than the day/nightclub they have it really feels quite bland and no real reason to go in there ever.
Final comment but it's clear Caesers doesn't really have any high end properties whcih can compete with Wynn, Venetian, Aria, Bellagio or Cosmo. Caesers Palace is definitely iconic but it's pricing point feels a bit too high for what it offers comparatively.
Great Video, Thanks for Sharing.
also LOVED the bloopers!
I like MGM Properties better overall, but the Ceasers Casinos are just way better. I enjoy gambling at CET properties. I just wish I didnt have to stay their but a comp is a comp.
Caesars
1 caesars
2 paris
3 planet hollywood
4 linq
5 Cromwell
6 harrahs
7 Horsehoe
8 flamingo
9 rio
Agree with Paris, but honestly, we enjoyed Flamingo and would rate it higher.
I mostly agree with you. I like Paris and Horseshoe. I personally would rank them higher than Caesar’s Palace because I prefer smaller, easier to navigate properties. I’m not big on the pool, so that’s not a factor for me.
Awesome video! Going to Vegas my third time late February. Staying at horseshoe. I’ve stayed at Paris and planet Hollywood. Hopefully I like horseshoe just as much!
The rankings are always a moving target as the properties are always changing, but Horseshoe is a solid value. Have fun, and thanks for watching!
Planet Hollywood is my pick. Stayed at Paris and so not impressed. Ballys now Horseshoe was great. My past Flamingo stay was good. Staying at Caesars in December. TY
I am loyal to MGM properties but stayed at Caesars Palace once in 2016 and had an amazing time. I gambled at all the Caesars properties and enjoyed Planet Hollywood and the Linq the most. On my most recent trip to Vegas this past July I stayed at Aria but finally ate at Mon Ami Gabi. My breakfast was delicious. I explored the Paris property and was very impressed. I actually really want to stay there. After Caesars and Paris there is a big dropoff in the quality of the properties. Your rating is pretty spot on.
Caesars properties are varying degrees of crap. Feels like they are run by people with tight wallets. They should sell half of their properties and focus more on the high end. The check-in process with the kiosks is a nightmare. They just don't offer the fun and variety of the MGM properties.
Harrahs 1st hotel we ever stayed at in Vegas when we went in 2014 to get married. Never will stay again but we will always go have a drink when in town like 2 weeks from today
We are coming next month for the Sphere Experience, and are having a hard time deciding between Harrah’s, Linq, and Flamingo. The hardest part is that they’re all next to each other, and are similarly priced. Caesar’s Palace is incredible, but massive. Navigating through it is indeed difficult.
Not really a Caesars fan. Don't like the feel of most of the properties there have the linq
is probably my favourite. But if i was shelling out on a hotel it would nearly always be MGM.
For Caesars palace you mentioned the forum tower was aweful, have you stayed at all towers? Do you have a video ranking the different towers or room tours of each tower?
That's one of the biggest problems with Ceasars Palace, the towers can be drastically different from one to another. No, we've not stayed in them all, but the Forum Tower is the oldest and has gotten REALLY run down in recent years. Rumor has it that it is in the middle of a renovation right now, though.
Even though The Flamingo needs work...The best part is when you walk out the front door you ARE on the sidewalk...There's no navigating fountains and whatever...Adding a long walk just to get to the street..
Overall, I think Y’all did a great job on this one! I haven’t stayed at a lot of the Caesar’s properties but certainly been in all of them. I hope Dreamscape does bring the Rio back to life But overall I have to say I still prefer the MGM properties Staying at the Aria in two weeks and Bellagio in December. Love your Videos Keep up the Great work and content. I enjoy them very much
we always liked Harrah's , mainly because of the old school keno bar
Bed bugs prefer ceasers
And Planet Hollywood
😆
Wynn has a bedbug sniffing dog. It's true
Yes, you nailed this one. Myself I prefer to stay at Paris over Caesars just because I have found the service in general to be better. Morning coffee is also easier to find at Paris early in the AM.
BTW, love the bloopers
We’d honestly rather stay at Paris, but we didn’t want to be TOO controversial! Thanks for watching!
Thank you,, my main problem with Ceasars properties is their check in system.
I know you can go to the kiosk, but you may end up getting a room at the very end of the hallway.
Great job. Think you got it perfect.
And heads up, there remodeling the forum tower as we speak
MGM hotels are nicer than Caesars properties.
MGM Signature is fantastic as well.
Great review as always! I have a soft spot for PH (would have ranked it higher) but you guys are spot on!
Yep.
I would separate Nobu from Caesars and make it number 1
nice 👍
I really liked this video. I have only stayed at Planet Hollywood for one night and Caesars has sent me a few free comps. I am a MGM person but willing to stray for a few free nights and freeplay.
I would say Caesars Palace and Cromwell are overrated while Planet Hollywood is underrated lol
Great video. Thanks for posting
I love Flamingo! It's where I stay every time I go to Vegas!
To each his own. Had we not been given such an awful room there it would definitely rank higher!
MGM is my go too properties in Vegas. Caesars are way too tight on comps. Years ago, I would stay at Caesars when their comps were good but in the last few years it seems to just get harder to get anything from them.
We get decent offers from Caesars considering how little we gamble there. That said, we don’t really like any of their properties.
My list:
1. Caesar’s
2. Paris
3.Horseshoe
4. Cromwell
5. Flamingo (always had a good experience)
6. Planet Hollywood
7. Harrahs
8. Linq (our stay was disgusting)
9. Rio
Could you rank MGM and Caesars together? These are interesting videos! Thank you!
I bet MGM would get the top 5 positions
Great video. I’m new to your YT channel-- have you done review on Wynn/Encore
We have! Check back a ways, they’re somewhat older videos.
I always stay at Planet Hollywood if we do stay at Ceasars. It's solid and right in the middle of it all. It was my first hotel I ever stayed at in Vegas
I really think i would have put planet hollywood above Horseshoe. The price and location combined with planey hollywood's amazing rooms really put it higher than 5th
I was going to write exactly the same comment
Cesar place is best known for Bed BUGS
We stayed at Paris this past February. I usually stay at the Wynn or Bellagio when we vacation in August, but we were there for a family surprise bday party, and the rates were pretty damn good for a week. I liked Paris because it was way easier to navigate, loved their restaurants ( The Americano cafe, or cafe Americano), is a great spot for breakfast. Best chicken and waffles i ate in a while. Loved their lounge area too. My cousins and I met up there EVERY morning after breakfast and we had a blast!
Obviously the center strip location was 2nd to none. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Their slots were hot as well.
Even though we'll be across the street this summer, i / we will definitely walk on over to Paris.
Since this video we have stayed at both, and we greatly prefer Paris. Thanks for watching!
Used my free nights at Excalibur and I left the first night out of 3 an switched to harrahs an my room was immediately a lot more comfortable and satisfying for me
I say solid list! The only hotels i would switch is horse-shoe and paris swap
Good vid, thanks! I stay at Caesar properties because I am comped. I was not familar with the non Palace ones except Horseshoe, so thanks. I'm a huge pool person and the palace pool is soooo awesome when I want to spend the whole afternoon there.
Completely agree wiv u guys when I have frequent MGM for 72 hours it's horseshoe I goto i value my time so ceasars don't do it for me as it's too big and logistics of property I hate. HS is so handy and rooms are huge. Nice add-on the clips at end love that side things
The last time I stayed at Flamingo was in 2015 and I got stuck in my tower elevator TWICE during that visit. Even back then I was regretting the money I paid for that stay. Terrible room, miserable experience.
The elevators at all Caesars properties are janky, but EXTRA at Flamingo!
I agree on most of your #
I would move the flamingo up two spots and put Paris at # 1 ❤
Oooof. I didn't realize how absolutely terrible Caesars portfolio is until I saw them one after the other. MGM is the clear winner if there was a MGM vs Caesars lineup. They might have some good dining options but I wouldn't really want to stay at any of them, including Caesar's Palace.
Yep. MGM by a landslide. Thanks for watching!
Show us a room at the forum tower at ceasers palace it lists some of the most affordable rooms
When we stayed there we weren’t doing RUclips and we have no desire to return!
Having the Linq on anybody’s top 10 automatically disqualifies your opinion.
You might look at the title of the video again, pal.
It’s a ranking of CAESARS ENTERTAINMENT’s Las Vegas properties. Therefore it contains ALL CAESARS ENTERTAINMENT properties in Vegas, ranked from worst to first.
Didn’t think it was that hard to understand.
My wife and I used to like going to the Rio. Liked this property when it was the Holiday Inn. My wife and I used to like to go here. Never stayed here, but, we liked playing in the casino. Stayed here when it was the Imperil Palace. It was nice then. Looks like it has some decent eateries in it. Used to like to go to this property when it was The Barbary Coast. Really good casino. A lot of these properties are on Las Vegas Blvd. It gets very crowded there these days. When going to Las Vegas would probably opt to stay at a Boyd Group property. Am subscribed and hit the like button.
Oh man, I love those outtakes! The lack of upkeep on many of these properties is egregious! It feels like such an uninteresting portfolio.
Over the years I've stayed at all these hotels with the exception of Cromwell and I agree with most of your list and comments. I personal would have PH a little higher and Paris a little lower. I've had many fun nights at PH and I think Paris is boring hotel, but does have great restaurants.
We stay at the Jockey Club. No casino but a great room with a full kitchen. Pool is small but not crowded and it has BBQs all around. It has a small convenience store like a 7-11. It's right next door to Cosmo, Bellagio and Paris. Perfectly centered. We love it!
All Ceasars properties ok just the wifi, only 3 devices allowed.we stayed at the Horseshoe old Ballys few years back and Planet Hollywood recently.we have a big family n all have cell phones, lap tops and game consoles
Great job as always I enjoy both Cesar’s and MGM properties ❤
From my experience, Harrah's is #2 and Cromwell is dead last along with Horseshoe
Eeeek, Harrah's? We'll have to agree to disagree. Thanks for watching!
Horseshoe is 100% my go to. Love it, and the cost is phenomenal
Wow we disagree, but thats ok. To be honest I know we would all rather be at Cosmo or Vdara. Personally I have PH at 3 but it is declining like the rest of their portfolio and they can keep their horrible service and check in process. Great video guys!!
I'd order them as LinQ, Harrahs, Flamingo for 8-6 spots.
That was really great! Totally agree with your rankings! Loved the outtakes at the end!
THANKS FOR SHARING ALL THIS GREAT INFORMATION. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK 👍🏼😁
You forgot the best Caesars property, which is Nobu.
Eh, that's not a standalone property and is factored into the Caesars Palace rating. Thanks for watching!
Caesar's has the best buffets.
Great videos guys, you are both great at what you do.
For the Paris Hotel you mentioned Cheap eats- what are they?
There are some quick service restaurants between Paris and Horseshoe, like a walk-up pizza counter, a place that serves crepes and sandwiches, as well as Bobby's Burgers by Bobby Flay. Mon Ami Gabi is also a very reasonably priced restaurant considering its prime strip location. Beer Park is also a good place to grab a bite. Not exactly "cheap eats" but again not terrible given it's location.
great video and editing. very smooth
Good video!!
You two sure badger each other in the outtakes at the end.
Gotta have fun with it!
Almost 20k!!!!
Should be about 3 weeks!
Love the outtakes 😂😂😂
I fell asleep at the Pen and Teller show.
I have enjoyed your content enough lately to forgive you for your excitement about Def leopard or whatever 1979 crap that was. 😂
It was Motley Crue, Def Leppard, and Poison, and it was a fantastic show!
Well Done!
Just seeing this video. Does Rio move up now that things are changing
Rio is no longer a Caesars property, so it would drop off of this list altogether.
@@ShowMeVegas I forgot they were no longer Caesers. Do u think u will go back a review it again
