CLB is mid because its the same ol Drake. His thoughts about women are the same at 34 as they were at 24. There is no growth, nothing crazy, nothing amazing. Its just the same ol, "I have sex with a lot of women, I'm the best rapper, I eat fine foods, sprinkle in some thoughts about family, etc". There is nothing amazing about it. There is not even a new angle on those topics. Its high quality "safe" hip hop. The skill and wit is undeniable. He will do his numbers and people will move on quickly.

CLB is a great album. People listened to it once and made a review! Thats the era we live in nowadays, People don’t let music age! It’s Pathetic

    • @elibook4189

@@lewis.9770 I PERSONALLY waited until I listened to it a couple of times and also in different locations with different people and by myself...and came to the same conclusion. It's not trash music by any means...it's just regular. 10 Years ago, 40's production was novel and mf's were like WHOA what is this? Fast forward 11 years later, the game has caught up to that sound so Drake & 40's music (sonically) no longer catches our attention like it once did because the sound is used so frequently. For those reasons, the album is just okay, TO ME. BUT that's the beautiful thing about art, it's all subjective! Nobody is wrong..it's just all a matter of preference.
