Yup. Going to try out EHX synth9 into Strymon El Cap..split out stereo into JC120 & Orange Dark terror w/4x12 celestion cab. Its the reverb that really catches those dark repeats and the arp type effects. I might put a Digital delay on in between to split it off or do reverse delay on it. Most excellent demo of why stereo is again superior with time based effects.
I've had the SY-1 for while and I still feel I have buyers remorse. The tones I get with this running through the GT-1000 are really disappointing. Do you or the audience have any tips/strategies with making a decent tone with the SY-1? There has to be something besides play a chord, change a knob, listen, rinse and repeat. Otherwise, anyone interested in a near mint SY-1 with an original box and manual?
I agree actually, I have an SY-1 and don't like the synth sounds. It's really thin and sounds out of tune to my ear sometimes! I mainly use software instead of pedals, and found the only way I can get sounds I like is to use a ridiculous amount of effects. For example chaining a granular plugin into two instances of Valhalla Shimmer, with one an octave up and one an octave down. That's gonna be expensive with pedals!
Play with the knobs a bunch! I assume you bought it either because you heard a demo you liked or you like synth in general. It’s a really cool pedal with a lot of potential. While I don’t adore every sound it produces, I’ve found at least a handful of ones that are really cool. It’s meant to be experimental. Adding a big reverb pedal after the SY-1 always enhances things too. Best of luck!
what does the internet-of-things listen to when management gives them big indian and little indian washrooms, the right to organize and form collective unions?
Very cool, love this thanks for sharing 🤍🙏
Thank you very much 🙏🙏🙏
Evening Perry. Great 👍 sounds once again. Cheers 🍻
Thanks my friend! 🍻 Cheers
Sounds great! I have the Boss SY200 and Walrus Audio Mako D1 v2, I will definitely be trying some of these out.
Someday I'm going to buy it too! I want it 🔥

How much? I'm interested
@@bobbyblue2632 it is long gone, but I just looked on reverb and saw you can get a near mint condition for an average of 180.
You need to use an expresion pedal.
