    NOTE: For the first mix-up I show off (forward jump into back airdash jH or simply land from the forward jump and 2D) you want to be pressing jH ASAP after the back airdash. I didn't mention it because I didn't realize that was a factor to ensuring that specific scenario works but I've had quite a few people in the GGST Resource Hub and Xrd Baiken discords mention that they were struggling to do it until they figured that out (they'd just overshoot the jH if it wasn't pressed immediately).
    Sorry for not catching that!

    How do you influence if you stay onside or cross up when doing the super jump into 2k?

  • @joeyrhubarb2558
    @joeyrhubarb2558 2 года назад +1

    What do you do for throw in the corner? My goto is jump forward, air dash back into immediate 236s for high, and jump forward 2D for low. But curious if you do anything different

    • @Memokarp
      @Memokarp  2 года назад

      Honestly, I tend to throw them outta the corner for the mix I showcased if I don't have meter to threaten yozansen

    I have such a hard time getting the jH mix to connect. And I'm pressing it asap after backdash. It whiffs all the time, or i end up on the other side of them. I usually don't have a hard time with execution but i just can't get this consistently no matter how many reps i do lol what's the difference between this and using a more consistent button like js? I'm able to get a silver beat combo out of it with the same routing as jhs

    • @Memokarp
      @Memokarp  2 года назад +1

      If jS is working for you, you definitely can USE jS. Less damage and a little harder to time the delay on yozansen but it should work fine.
      With saying that you already do the jH immediately, it's kinda hard for me to gauge what mistake you might be making without seeing it, but if jS is working for you it should work just fine that way too

      @@Memokarp i think it's maybe I'm not jumping forwards enough. Is there a way you guage the timing ot how long to forwards jump?

    • @Memokarp
      @Memokarp  2 года назад +1

      @@sergiok6660 Honestly, I've done it so many times now that I just do it by muscle memory.
      I guess the biggest indicator is that once you're actually crossed over with the forward jump (crossed over the opponent while they're still knocked down) you can start doing the backdash jH.
      If you @ me on twitter or something with a clip of you attempting the oki in the event you can't get it figured out I can try and provide more specific advice

    Hi! Love the vid. I noticed in the first mixup the sol recovered from the fall and bounced up. Does that change the timing? I'm having trouble consistently doing it on the training dummy when its just standing back up. Thanks!!

    • @Memokarp
      @Memokarp  2 года назад +1

      I didn't have the Sol set to anything special on wake-up. What tends to happen when you try the oki?
      If you're doing forward jump backdash jH and you're whiffing over Sol it's likely you aren't pressing the jH fast enough. If you delay the jH press it won't halt your momentum and you'll overshoot!

    I’m not sure i understand what you need to do to get the side change for the superjump into yosansen, the inputs look the same unless i’m missing something

    • @Memokarp
      @Memokarp  Год назад +1

      You are correct, the inputs are the same! It's just a timing thing! When you get close to landing, inputting yozansen will give you the same side, inputting the yozansen as the opponent is getting up from knockdown should give you cross-up (a little higher up basically).
