@@cindymoran1611 the way she describes the books seems very specific and it just seems to me that she doesn’t really skim through the books since the memory she retain from the books is very precise (from the way she tells them). and i mean, some people do read books faster than others. btw, she did say she enjoyed “the last word” by taylor adams and gave it a 5 stars since you doubt that.

Yes, we love being smart about a reading challenge! I would rather watch these kinds of videos where you get some sleep and continue, than you forcing yourself to read for hours and hours straight. You are my reading inspo and have now gotten me over my huuuge reading slump that I've had for over a year! Thank you and keep up the great content💖

Hey Destiny, I know the 24hr readathon is pretty signature for your account, but have you considered something like the 24in48 readathon instead? Melreads is another booktuber that does this instead of the 24hr readathon bc it's a little more low key and SIGNIFICANTLY less stressful on you mentally and physically. It's basically what you did here already, reading 12 hrs per day for two days straight.

I love what you said about waiting to rate! I used to rate my books immediately after it was over and then almost always had to change the rating a month later (usually to a lower rating…) so now I force myself to wait a week before rating to see if it actually stuck with me or not. 🥰

My jaw dropped when you said 5 stars for the last word omg I need to pick that up immediately!! I read love theoretically this month and ended up giving it a 3.75 I just had such a hard time separating all the science from the love story and I would just get lost idk still liked it tho!

I am actually happy that people decide to split it, cuz before that I saw many people vlogging and having trouble with keeping themselves awake and is true that reading is good for your health but is not worth it if you are going be awake all night becuase that is not healthy.

I watch you regularly and girl I can relate to you like nobody’s business anxiety wise. My anxiety is health related though like I have super high health anxiety and this started after I became a mother. Ya I am way older than you are but I love watching you and when you mention about your anxiety I find myself nodding and agreeing like you were infront of me

how do you read so fast? i wonder if you have a voice in your head that reads out loud what your eyes see. because if you don't have an inner voice then this might explain why you read fast etc. 🤗
