    Just to be clear…Ronin is in no way a bully in this situation. Humans ‘bully’, dogs have social etiquette and manners. The gsd was being bad mannered and trying to dominate a much higher member of that particular social situation…he was given a very big correction by Ronin in order to calm things down for good…dogs want harmony in the pack. The social structure needs to be respected or this will happen. I would say that gsd was maybe an upper mid member…but Ronin is the Alpha and will not be challenged in that way…just a normal interaction for a lower ranking dog having a crack at the big time…I love malies btw…so much respect for the breed, you must be an excellent owner or this type of dog could easily become uncontrollable…big ❤️

    Just to be clear. Ronin was somewhat confrontational I realize this. He wasn’t fixed and was reaching his maturity state so did not like intact puppy’s. I still had good recall on him but you walk on eggshells constantly so I got him fixed. He no longer has this issue. Now did the GSD deserve to get shown that correction. I think so. Ronin never mounted him or got physical with him till then and new when to stop. If the owner didn’t step in that mounting will turn to aggression. He had to check him.

    Another fun thing, if you can capture it, is what I call "doggy jokes". They are small behavious which are sort of like the stupid jokes a 5 year old might tell over and over again, thinking it's funny even though every one has heard it hundreds of times. For example, my (really submissive) lab likes to tease me by taking a shoe just for a few seconds and then pulling it away when I try to grab it. He only does it once or twice before he gives it to me directly and then wiggles lots sort of saying "ha ha, I got you again." He has a few others of these behaviours as well. Normally I would say that it's being playful, but he seems to be "telling a dad joke" and laughing. Afterwards, we go on about our normal business as usual.

    A lot of the dog social skills are also picked up at the home setting. If the dog runs ur house and does and gets what he wants. He will think right away he can do the same thing at a park. This is why it’s always good to bring ur puppy to a not so busy dog park but has some good dogs their that can actually teach them social skills. Like humans. If a dog is secluded and don’t socialize much then get out or pushed into a busy dog park it can lead to some real issues.

    Whenever my German Shorthaired Pointer would act dominant, he would sniff the other dog's butt, and mark territory where this husky was marking. They were both large dogs and would get into frequent dog fights where they would cross heads before they started growling, showing teeth, and trying to "play attack" each other. I would just control my dog's collar and pull him back from the other dog, and then get up closer to control him, all while saying "Arnold!" and "Whoa whoa whoa" in a dominant tone. He only got into dog fights with that husky though and my dog started sniffing the husky's butt first. But it was kinda crazy seeing these two 150lb+ dogs go at it. And if you aren't assertive, it is insanely embarrassing and strange to have happen and it looks like both dogs want to kill each other. Dogs are definitely more alpha or dominant if they are pissing everywhere like my dog was and constantly sniffing other dog's asses. 🐶
    A lot of the owners respected the fact that I was instantly willing to control my dog and apologize to the other owner, and because I'm so physically beefy, I wasn't like my mother where the dog just pwned her repeatedly.
    My mom definitely made our GSP a gigantic sausage by feeding him too much (that's why I say he was like 150 lbs). But to 99% of people that see your dog, they either think you're an asshole or your dog is bad. I am way more physically imposing and larger than the average person, so maybe I had an easy time of it, and I'm not even going to say my mother trained her dog perfectly, but yeah. I always apologized to the opposing owner and went on my way. Whether it's your dog's training, your mom's training of the dog (the pack leader), or you, the number one thing to do is to not get excited and let that dog know that what he's doing isn't OK.
    I dunno if I'd want to get into situations like that as an older person, but as a young person it was entertaining to see "who the real owners" of these dominant dogs were. Because if your dog is pissing everywhere and sniffing other dog's asses, you know you should be able to handle that dog and never let him cuck you. Nor do I care about the people that say you can do the wrong or right thing, half the people that say shit like that are overly-thinking pussies that have never had to act intimidating or get respect from their dog because their dog doesn't try to dominate other dogs, most of this stuff is your intuition, your natural desire to respect the other person and their dog, and your own hatred of your own dog that he would dare fuck with the other dog and cuck your will over him.
    Even when people would yell at me for how my dog acted, I always apologized even if I knew they were retarded and being overly zealous over something that these geezers view as a threat to the safety of their world. As long as you act with respect, you will naturally be intimidating to these people and your dog (even if the goal isn't to intimidate your dog, but to break up the dog fight and make your dog respect you and other dogs as a result).

But his very energetic, im very glad that they don't know how to jump over the fence, or I might ended up chasing and running the whole subd. my male dog is very smart and always escape with the slightest mistake when barriers the gate😒
    So yeah his kind of a troublemaker and he always remember those who bullies him. But his a very gentle with people around, we train them with people around so they won't feel scared and won't bit others, except they hurt him first

    I had something similar like this happen when I had a my cattle dog. He was a puppy and un-neutered at that time around 6 months.. he sees this female husky walking by(looked over 2 years of age).. and so they greet, however my puppy was getting to hump; till the female husky punked him to basically back off. The owner thought to apologize for her behavior, but I told her they’re completely okay. Overall my puppy ran behind me, and no injuries occurred. But kinda funny how that a husky was willing to correct a puppy, but that left my terrier mix go mother mode- and corrected the husky as if she was protecting her own pup.
    The interaction is very human, that I see the husky tail down like a rag doll slowly and bowed to understand that she’s sorry to make such a correction. Everyone shake it off , we all pet our dogs.😂
    I guess the husky was sorta doing this for rank reasons, as if probability the husky knew my puppy was not a higher male.
    From that day, his mounting problem stopped.

    Tbh if another dog annoys my dog while its laying down. I should be the one protecting my dog and get the other dog off my dog by preventing the situation instead of my dog attacking the annoying dog. That is the correct behaviour imo. I got a 170lbs presa canario intact male so even a "correction bite" might be too much for a puppy. Dogs aren't wolves so you should be the one making decisions for them, that's how they evolved. Your dog training opinion is just like cesar milan who probably dont even have a dog training certificate.

    • @bloblablah7409
      @bloblablah7409 Год назад +4

      I agree 100%. If I see a dog annoying my dog, I'm going to hover close to the other dog to let it know I'm in charge as opposed to having my own dog have to make that statement through confrontation/fighting. Dogs feeling the need to show dominance is a survival instinct for when they're in the wild and have to hold their own in the pack. Ronin is a domesticated pet, he has no scarcity of food therefore he has know reason to need to be asserting dominance. I know I'm preaching to the choir and you already know this but it's shocking how many people in this comment section can't understand that. Ronins been in so many fights/confrontations and he's still so young, how can no one see a common denominator here?

    • @snowwhite-wk1ny
      @snowwhite-wk1ny Год назад +1

      @@bloblablah7409 Well actually sometimes it's better if a dog corrects another person's dog too, it even works too I think. And Ronin needs to show dominance because he's the leader of his pack too, and since he is the leader he always looks out for his pack members, and yes it can be for survival instinct in the wilderness. But if it's domesticated dogs it can also be because the pushy GSD made Raven and Roxie uncomfortable too. And that's what made tension toward Ronin and the GSD. And it says it in the title Ronin is an intact, which means he hasn't been neutered yet. So that's what causes fights and confrontations because an intact male's smell is different to a neutered one. So that's why Ronin has so many fights and confrontations at such a young age.

    • @snowwhite-wk1ny
      @snowwhite-wk1ny Год назад +1

      A correction bite won't hurt as much as you think, but I do understand it does look painful at first but it's not that bad as you may think. And it's sometimes good when a dog corrects another dog too. Also if you keep on making decisions for them they might depend on you a lot more than themselves and it won't be good for them because they have to think for themselves too. For example, if they're home alone and then a robber comes in, the dog might not be confident in their abilities to defend themselves against the robber because they're always depending on you.

      I agree. My lab is 12 years old and has never been in a fight, if he get's mounted he doesn't give a fuck and I'll pull the other dog off of him. Who cares if someone elses dog is more dominant than your own dog? What's important is that your dog understands that we as their owners are the ones in charge.
      Ronin gets into way too many confrontations and he's still so young. Sure, he's standing up for himself to make the point that he's the dominant one, but is that really worth it if it leads to this many confrontations?
      It's not like Ronin is some wild animal, he's a domesticated pet. do you think this is something that needs to be corrected with Ronin? I understand he is still intact but for example my Dobbie is very sensitive around her bum doesn't like any dogs getting all in her business and has snapped at other dogs letting them know they are making her uncomfortable
    if this happened with Ronin do you think he would take it as a challenge and then become dominate and perhaps start a confrontation
