I love my Perfection heaters. If you get one that has a beat up finish, you don't need to use stove paint to refinish them. Most engine paint is good to 550 degrees intermittent and oil resistant. The heater case will never reach that. It gives a nice finish and there are a lot more color options vs stove or header paints. Set a brick or two on top of the unit and the bricks will build up some extra heat. I use those for hand warmers in the garage during the winter.

Kerosene is 65$ for 5 gallons of the kleanburn where I am located. Where do you get your kerosene? Thanks for the heads up on the propane tank swap. I thought they weren’t completely full. Everyone seems to scam us nowadays. I’m definitely going to just get the propane tanks refilled from now on.
Yeah if you buy it like that it’s very expensive. I stopped at one of the local gas stations near me that carry kerosene and the price this morning is $5.40 per gallon. So you could cut that $65 down to $27 if you can find a local gas station that sells it. Glad I could help with the propane tank refill solution.👍
