In this video I'll be showing you how airports have developed in GTA series. Grand Theft Auto III is the first game we can see airports in the series. Airports have appeared in all Grand Theft Auto games since then.

The perfect airport does only exist in GTA 5 but its still not that perfect.
1 - GTA VC had good traffic but you cant fly
2 - GTA SA You can fly but no traffic
3 - Same for GTA IV
4 - GTA V have all these.

When I first played and heard of GTA 3 I thought it was latest edition and always thought it's Next series after VC 😂😂😂 recently When I saw evolution of GTA I realised it's just number 3 and it's older than GTA vc

@@Vengir Talking about myself, tbh GTA 3 appears more realistic and is better in all aspects than GTA Vice City. I like III better.
GTA III and GTA V have the most realistic airports from my experience, although in GTA III the Boeing 727-type aircraft seems to always flare correctly when landing but pitch up and tailstrike afterwards. In GTA IV the Boeing 747-type aircraft never seem to takeoff or land. They either fly around the airspace in circles or taxi up the taxiways and down the runways aimlessly until the cows come home.

GTA Vice City was ahead of its time. Escelators, an actual interior for the airport (and also mall, but that's not the topic) … GTA VI needs to step up. GTA V was so disappointing when it comes to airports.
That's cause of limitations I assume.

San Andreas has the worst airports to be honest. There's nothing going on, there's no planes landing or getting off, no terminals to get into.

I think there is no traffic because CJ can pilot the plane himself and maybe hardware limitation at the time.These can be changes using air traffic mods however. But for the interior, there is an LS Int' interior but never use. You can teleport there using trainer or mod.

The airport's are great places to hang out in GTA games but I do feel like they need to be busier, more traffic etc, regular planes coming and going rather than the odd one if you time it right

I'm studying aviation and laugh just look at the airport facilities of the 3D universe. All of them miss many details but I know it's just a game and hardware limitation. But GTAV still has some minor wrong details, I wonder did R* really hire aviator experts to redesigned the LS Int'? Or they just redesign the airport themself and used google as reference source?

Pavaris Pobhirun they sure didn’t use google. LAX has 4 runways and they are on the left and right sides from the one world way street. But LSX has 3 and an L like tarmac if that makes sense

In GTA 6, I wish that there will be realistic air traffic, and many planes. Also, if there's a plane crash in the Airport, fire trucks will go to the plane crash and ambulances will go there, and a lot of people getting out of the plane, and some died.

There are 3 airports in GTA SA , 1 MARKED helipad and 1 air strip
There is 1 airport in GTA V but 2 Airfields and 1 military base air strip
* 5 MARKED HELIPADS IN GTA: SA. (One in LV and one in SF)
3 airports, 1 airstrip, 1 military air base (area 51 airfield), 1 aircraft carrier, more than 5 marked helipad 😁
