Love it! I found something out yesterday I wish I knew before! guest shops are the only facilities in the game that do not have to be connected to the path. I think it is because the staff jumps over the counter to enter instead of walk through the door. if it is reasonably close enough to the path it will work perfectly fine! it also works for toilets some how. it is making my build/path troubles a lot better to handle. :) I don't know why I had to figure this out by my self. I watch a LOT of planet zoo youtube ever since it came out and some how nobody mentioned it hahaha maybe nobody knows? well I'm here to spread the good word! haha maybe it will be my mission this month to tell everybody this hiddentreasure. my christmas present to the community. :P

Oh wow yeah i had no idea about that!! There have been so many times when ive had to redo the paths 1000x because they wouldnt connect to the buildings for no reason at all haha. Thanks for the tip!!

the "too much sand" is coming from the walls and the land above. everything that is covert in between the (nul)barriers is counting. so evrything on the y-axes so to speak. this also happens when you build a natural cave. you have to paint the inside and the outside of the cave. and this habitat is in a way one massive cave... haha I always have this problem when I use nul barriers. I forget where they go and dont know where it stops counting. :P

That makes a lot of sense! Thanks for the info 😊 I've never played with caves that take up a significant enough amount of the habitat to notice that before.

Could the sand be coming from the walls in the habitat? From being dug in.

Yeah I was thinking that could be it! Odd that it went from being okay one minute to not the next, but maybe it was just confused about the sand on the walls.
