I agree: 1.) a tithe is supposed to be something from the heart given freely. forcing a tithe negates all that, it just makes it something of fear. 2.) so many young people already have a problem with these big money mega-church and their millionaire pastors. this just re-enforces the perception that it's all about the money. 3.) and tithes are supposed to be between you and God so why is the church looking over your shoulder on what you are tithing anyway?
