Miss the cook shop food fr oh my God. Plus mango time now miss the East Indian mango and my country long mango. Miss fresh vegetables like Callaloo and cabbage the ones here taste different. I like the weather here now mi nuh miss the scorching sun a yard.
The Juici Patties thing make me hesitant fi like this comment 🤣 😂 😥 but we agree with everything else. Vegetables definitely taste different here 🤷♀️don't miss the heat too but the things is, in Edmonton it's dry heat which can be worse. At least in Jamaica it's humid. My skin is so dry at times, no matter what I use

Someone said that Edmonton is extremely cold, even during summer snow falls. Have you experienced that?
Is there a Jamaican restaurant in Edmonton?
Hi there 👋 Edmonton is pretty cold but the cold spells in the winter don't last long. Canada on a whole is much colder than Jamaica so doesn't matter where in Canada you are, it will take some adjustments. We haven't experienced any snow in the summer. It did snow in the mountains (Banff & Jasper) in June last year but the mountains have unpredictable weather. Edmonton normally has snow between October and March( we got very little in April this year).
There are many Jamaican restaurants and stores here
Renee, where did you get your braids done?
Hey there 👋 my hairdresser is Mary/Valdez HQ. She's on 118 street Downtown. She's on Instagram instagram.com/stylezbymary_j?igsh=MXN1ajhtaHpueW4yeA==
Hey guys. Would you advise someone to come to Edmonton? Your honest opinion please!
I would say Edmonton is a good place to settle but also encourage you to do your research to make sure it's right for you
