I'm a Voyager 12 lover. I had 3 at one time. I'm currently traveling across the country pulling a Aspen camper with my wife

I own a 1991 with 13,000 miles on the clock. It is as fresh as the day it left the factory. Currently looking at buying a second one for my brother to join me on rides....fabulous machines, with so much character...

This is the most wild repair video I have ever seen. Step one. Wash cylinders with ether, step two force fuel into carbs. Step three add electricity and heat to questionable situation. Walaah ! Runs great.

I love that bike! I'd keep her and put her back together then use it for touring trips during the fall and summer season. I have a 2007 Yamaha Royal star tour deluxe and she's getting up there in mileage so something like that would be perfect to share the duties. I got turned on to those vintage Kawasaki Voyagers and Yamaha Ventures last year. I live outside of Washington DC in Northern VA, and I met a guy at the Sheetz gas station on one like yours but a different color. I struck up a conversation with him after I noticed he had Texas tags on the bike. He was loaded down with luggage and his wife. They rode the bike up from Texas on their way to Annapolis MD to visit his brother and family. He said the bike was fast, comfortable all day, and rode smoothly. I really think I want one as a second bike.

I bought a Savage last year that spewed gas everywhere whenever I’d start it up, took the carb off and cleaned out the jets, reset the float and it stopped. I really thought the bike was screwed, I ain’t no mechanic but my dad was and I remember most of what he taught me 🤘🏼

I have a 98 voyager, what I don’t have is your mechanical knowledge. They’re fun and fast AF for a big old tourer

Hey your video is great. I had the same exact thing happen to me on my 92 Voyager Wich is ironic cause it's the same color pattern and everything, but thanks for sharing. RideOn

Can you give some pointers on removing the fuel tank on a 2002 Kawasaki Voyager Xii 1200? It has some old fuel residue in it.

The fuel pump was the only failure I ever had on my 88 and 95 voyagers besides a flat.

Ok Guys I bought this bike but I have run in to a problem, when I turn the key on I have no power to anything. I have put a new alternator on it. The bike was running great then the front breaks locked up so I got new break lines and after changing them the bike would not start I have nothing on the dash . If anyone could point me in the right deration I would really appreciate it.

Hey man. I'm sorry to hear you're having some trouble with the bike, especially with the brakes. I thought for sure flushing the lines and rebuilding the calipers was all it needed. It's hard to tell the condition of the brake hoses though. As far as the electrical, it sounds like possibly a ground issue. I would start by checking the engine ground and the ground from the battery. Or it could be the battery ran flat dead. I know I kept it on a tender to keep it charged. If you need a hand with anything on it, just message me. I'm always willing to help out if I can.

check the battery voltage with a battery meter and honk the horn when you switch the key on. if you see a big voltage drop you have a bad battery. double check all the fuses. if you see no drop in voltage, check ground and the connections leading up to the key. when working correctly there should only be a minor drop when you turn the key on and the lights come on and the horn honks.
