Nah he’s mobile enough , u seen the escape and throw play? He’s no Lamar or Deshuan but he ain’t slow as dirt , I think if scouts would’ve seen a lot of rolling out and goal line scrambles he would’ve definitely got picked higher

Born March 6, 1998. Played high school football for the Manvel Mavericks (TX). Played college football for the Florida Gators. Drafted #64 overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sure that his goal is to help them get back to the Super Bowl.
I see a lot of similarities to Jared Goff. He's definitely got active feet in the pocket and helps with his pocket awareness. Rooting for this kid. He's got a good story.

Not gonna lie I didn’t like the pick at first , but watching his tape I see why Bruce likes him , this man got a fast ass release when he throws it he can place the ball in the right spot everytime I think he’s gonna be the biggest sleeper of the draft , with Brady help I think we set our selves up with a franchise Qb for the next 10-15 years after Brady retires , I hope Brady stays for 2-3 years
In today's NFL, you have to be mobile and have a strong arm. He doesn't have either. He's an average starter at best, but most likely a career backup. He just doesn't have the physical tools.

He’s always looking downfield and he’s very poise , on the flea flicker play the rb made a bad toss and he still was able to anticipate were his WR was going to be and made a good throw, He doesn’t have a cannon for arm but he makes up for it with ball placement , and quick release something u have to have in a BA risk it or biscuit offense . and he did all of this in The SEC so he’s used to Big mammoth’s chasing him down while he trying to make the right read so he’ll be fine .. you don’t to have to be mobile just have some mobility.. on the very first play you can tell he can move by the way he rolled out the pocket and threw a dart , he can be deadly in Play action
@@cityslickermh agree 100% he's a smart qb and also has a good arm for deep passes and mobility to escape if needed just need a confident coaching staff to help him transition into the NFL he will be a top 15 to top 10 qb in 3 years but that is a strong if on that let's see what the offensive coordinator has up the sleve with the run game to help make it a little easier for him his first year or 2 like Russell Wilson and marshawn lynch scenario
The best quote to evaluate quarterbacks comes from Bill Parcells, "any quarterback can have a great game". Or in this case amazing, eye-popping and unbelievable highlights at the Collegiate level. "Now the questions become this, against the NFL's defense, can he start on his own 20, then move the sticks play after play, quarter after quarter, game after game and then year after year"? We shall see.
As a niner fan, he reminds me of Jimmy g. He's bigger and stronger than jimmy, but both have less than ideal arm strength. Both have solid touch passing with good ball placement. Both could benefit from a full healthy season. I could see Trask fitting nicely in the 49ers offense
So much focus on 5 QBs. He should be 6th QB and potential starter. Hard to know what some NFL teams do with backups and which team he lands on can affect where a player is on depth chart but he should have a 10+ year career
Yeah,me too...I think he will get picked by the WFT....Then he will have a year to develop since Fitzgerald is the starter. Sitting on the bench for the first year does wonders for young qbs confidence....too bad many franchises can't/don't do it much anymore.... It sure worked out good for Rodgers,Mahomes and Prescott . I think there is a slight chance that they get Kellen Mond if Trask is gone but I dunno about that one....I wouldn't get Mond until late 3rd or early 4th round.
Paton is probably not sold on Lock. I wouldn't be surprised if our broncos snap him at 9 if not probably trey Lance....but Kyle's ball placement is pretty damn good for rn
His football IQ is incredibly underrated. Look at the throw at 3:31 He gets bashed for weak mobility or a weak arm (both things he can still get better at), but most importantly he has the intangibles for the nfl no doubt.
He’s got a foundation to build off of, in a uptempo west coast style offense that revolves around power running, and the easy read-quick passing game-he could thrive. His timing, anticipation, accuracy, ball placement can all be made elite with perfected NFL mechanics. By far his biggest problems are mechanics he’s gonna have years to have his entire mechanics totally overhauled, the throwing motion, footwork, along with physical conditioning to really get more torque from those hips, he has the physical ability with that huge body to really drive the ball-but it’s locked away by terrible mechanics. Which is fixable. I want to see what he can do after three years of hardcore physical conditioning, pliability training, weight training. mechanical perfecting, etc.
I see matt hasselbeck as a comparison someone who with right talent and system could thrive after a few years on the bench studying. I like the comp any thoughts?
He just feels like the perfect Chicago bears qb. He just needs to manipulate the D with his eyes more. He has nice ball placement and pocket toughness tho. Surprised he doesn't get any love from the draft pundits.
More I watch the more I’m good if we take him at twelve. He can sit behind jimmy till Kyle thinks he’s ready. Good size, decent arm and can move just enough to get out of trouble. And we keep our draft picks n load up!

He looks the part of an NFL QB to me. I just watched Jordan Love tape from last year, nothing but 3 step drop and throw is far as he can to streaking wr against weak conference Def. Have no idea what GB was thinking. Trask on the other hand has the size, looks off defenders, good deep ball, zip and touch, doesn’t lock in on WR. Seems he panics a little when pressure comes, but other than that looks like an NFL QB to me.
9ers, as a Rams fan hate to say it, LV, MIN, DEN, prolly CHI, hope the Rams would somehow get him if not Mac 10...SF, LV and LA, as competent in coaching as it gets offensively for his chances
Would love to see Trask in New Orleans with Sean Payton coaching him up. He can put the ball exactly where it needs to be. Strong arm but not the strongest and accurate. We will take him at 28 in the Big Easy...

Patriots need to draft this guy or mac jones, I see people saying Kyle Pitts if he's there with their first pick but you need a qb first, ik patriots like their TEs but you can't have a TE and no qb. Cam Newton ain't it and we havent seen stidham play yet
He lifts his back foot off the ground a bit when he throws. If you played quarterback you would have been taught that is mechanically faulty. He still has good numbers but that won’t fly in the NFL. It is fixable but he won’t be lacing in ropes picking up that back foot as it messes with trajectory.
Everyone wants to talk about the receivers he was throwing to. The receivers better hope that their QBs in the NFL can place it the way he does. Pitts is fine with Ryan sure, but don't act like all the QBs have this skill.

Not really. Goff throws a prettier ball, but terrible under pressure. I think Trask is a lot better in the pocket under pressure

Patriots need to draft this guy or mac jones, I see people saying Kyle Pitts if he's there with their first pick but you need a qb first, ik patriots like their TEs but you can't have a TE and no qb. Cam Newton ain't it and we havent seen stidham play yet

He lifts his back foot off the ground a bit when he throws. If you played quarterback you would have been taught that is mechanically faulty. He still has good numbers but that won’t fly in the NFL. It is fixable but he won’t be lacing in ropes picking up that back foot as it messes with trajectory.
Everyone wants to talk about the receivers he was throwing to. The receivers better hope that their QBs in the NFL can place it the way he does. Pitts is fine with Ryan sure, but don't act like all the QBs have this skill.
