This is a very good animation, just one thing. German panzer gunners would actually aim for the first tank, they would then destroy the last and trap all of the other tanks inside. This tactic was used by panzer ace Michael Whitman, who destroyed 23 allied tanks in one go. Also another thing, when a shell hits a tank, I would make a hole out of lego, like the 1x1 pieces with the pin hole. If it was at an angle, you could use wedge pieces to give it a look like it ricochet. Over all, great animation.
Thanks :) Originally I tried to make the interiors a lot more detailed but its really tricky to actually pull that off successfully. Doing a plain dark bluish grey wall is pretty much the best way to do it atm.
Yes, you can tell towards the end where the Tiger is aiming does not make any sense at all. I was in a little bit of a rush to finish that because of finals. But overall I'm really satisfied with the final product.
I googled 'Tiger 1 scope' on google and went into google images. Somehow I managed to find a picture of the scope that had a transparent background, so its out there somewhere. Sadly I couldn't find a sherman scope so I just used a basic aiming scope for that.
