After over a year, Terrible Rap Battles of Comic Sans makes its triumphant return with more shitposty bullshit that doesn't really make a lot of sense. This episode features a match between Elon Musk, self-proclaimed tech genius and CEO of many revolutionary companies that he doesn't know how to actually manage, and Mike Ehrmantraut, the consummate professional of Breaking Bad's criminal underworld and Snakebite126's dead ringer. Both do whatever it takes to chase the bag regardless of those who have to suffer the consequences, but only one of them can walk home without victory having slipped through their fingers.
It's crazy that the last TRBoCS came out in February of last year. Sorry about that! I have a couple more badass battles in the works that will hopefully come out this year, but the past has taught me to never make promises like that so I suppose we'll see. For those wondering by the way, all that shit I said above I just made up after the fact. The reason I did this matchup is because I wanted to do an Elon Musk battle that was more in line with the current public of perception of him as opposed to ERB's more outdated portrayal, and I also wanted to do a battle with Mike because people have told me I bear a striking resemblance to him. I decided to just mix the two together because that's how every good idea is made and voila! With that said, I hope you guys enjoy the return of TRBoCS!

mike ehrmantraut, also known as kid named finger or simply finger, is a character from breaking bad and better call saul. he is an ex-cop who began a criminal life to leave behind enough money to support his granddaughter when he died. he serves as a fixer, security guard, and hitman for iconic characters like gus fring and saul goodman, and he is beloved by breaking bad fans for his professionalism, wisdom, and many action scenes where he effortlessly outsmarts opponents like cartel members despite his age and appearance. breaking bad shows him constantly at odds with chemist walter white as he attempts to keep him from causing trouble for gus fring's operation, which he fails. he is portrayed by jonathan banks, and in recent years he has gained an internet presence through memes like kid named finger or put your d#ck away walter. mike's most iconic episodes across breaking bad and better call saul include five-o, salud, half measures, full measure, say my name, bagman, and pimento.
elon musk is a businessman and inventor known for owning companies such as tesla, spacex, paypal, and most recently twitter. he was at one point the wealthiest man in the world, surpassing jeff bezos. he has received much acclaim for his efforts to colonize mars and pioneer space travel, push for electronic vehicles in the fight against global warming, general humanitarian efforts, and his apparent relatability to his followers by staying in touch with meme culture and interacting with fans. he has become controversial over the years though, with many criticizing him for his acquisition of twitter leading to many features that users spoke out against, his firing of many important employees seemingly for no reason but ego, and general incompetence leading to the site becoming a lot less functional. he has also caught flak for alleged sexual harassment, mocking the lgbtq+ community, general inefficient leadership of companies, and using his platform to spread misinformation. musk is a very polarizing figure, with some being incredibly loyal and devoted to him and others detesting him, but none can dispute his importance in modern culture.

As an avid Better Call Saul fan and Musk hater, this has got to be my favorite of yours. But that aside, the level of wordplay and flow on display here is unmatched. Even your joke battles are undefeated.

you've done great man, the track flows well, is amazingly written and clealry had a lot of effort put into it, looking at the backgrounds, all the extra takes you did for all the side characters, Mike and Elon actually sound different! but most importsntly the fact that we got this battle so soon after the last one too
and the fact that you put more effort into the Donald Trump costume convinces me that you intentionally didn't try to show a bald Mike (knowing you've used bald caps before), I appreciate it all .
I spent 100% of Ehrmantraut's lines just through-the-roof, emotionally. The rhythm and wordplay were exquisite, as always. (Once I've watched it more times, I'll be able to give examples.) Musk's lines were also excellently written, but I was rooting against him, lol. The impression of Ehrmantraut was delightful. Admittedly, I haven't seen Breaking Bad, but he was in season 5 of Community, so I feel like I get the gist. Awesome work!

This and Mansa Musa vs. Jeff Bezos are perfect examples of why modern billions are seen as universally terrible people. Usually I respect people's opinion on these battles, but I genuinely hope nobody watches this and genuinely thought Mike didn't win. Elon's opening line was funny and a good callback to his ERB battle but almost everything else is used for laughs, with the exception of going out cold and played by Banks, but no match for the daughter and Bachelor's from Mike's 1st. Eleon picked up the pace with the Five-O, and that he left his family, but we all know the rest of the fire was being saved for last. Mike's 2nd killed Elon from the firings, to Twitter Blue, sexual misconduct and breaking him down psychologically and saying that he is (near objectively) nothing more than a fraud, bad father, lazy business leader, and an overall bad person. IT ISN'T EVEN CLOSE YALL. Now we've seen that both Scru Face Jean and Snakebite126 SMOKED a white multi-billionaire who does incredibly shady things is almost universally hated.
