I could listen to Matthew play the piano or the viola for hours! I pray that he is home soon, out of this nightmare - back with his family and friends. Free to do those things that are important to him, to light up the lives of those around him.
You know who I pray for? The man that he left disabled for the rest of his life, by intentionally trying to kill himself by driving his car into George Cusick’s car with 0 regard for his or his wife’s life . It’s a disgrace that they’re hailing this kid as a martyr, he should’ve never seen the light of day for 50 years.
My heart goes out to you Ms. Rushin. I can relate to you having a hard time letting him go into the world to be independent . So many think autism is a fade, fake, or you grow out of it and that isn't true. Many nights I cried with nervousness until I heard my son coming through the door from working at night. My prayers and thoughts go out to you.
My heart is broken knowing the pain and anguish you and your family are enduring. My prayer is that Matthew is freed and know that there are people praying and advocating for Matthew.
