Though, as I come from such a huge family, there are fans of so many clubs from all over the place amongst us. You can imagine how much banter we have on the regular, lol! 😜 When it comes to national teams, I have ones I like to see do well. And those I really do not. Scotland... I honestly despise, after the events of 2012. Up until then, I was every bit a Scotland fan as I am a Ger. However, I do not believe in forgiveness or forgetting. And I, for one well never forgive or forget. The final straw for me was the game against Australia, at Easter Rd. What I watched on my old TV that night utterly shamed me to my very core: the vitriol and sheer hatred from the majority of the Scotland "fans" towards Ian Black... one of their own, literally reduced me to tears. I literally ripped off my Scotland top and binned it, along with my scarf and 6' saltire. Don't get me wrong, I do not hold it against any fellow Ger who chooses to still support Scotland. It's just not a thing I could ever do again, personally. 🤷♀️ Na, I don't really have any preferences towards Lithuanian or Byelorusian teams, tbh. I have major soft spots for Dynamo Kiev from Ukraine and Hapoel Be'er-Sheva of Israel, though. 😎
