I played and practiced devil boi in about 2 hours earlier and im surprised how useful his while rising knee can be in his combos, since it transitions him into while flying crow stance where most of his other strong attacks are :o
They did he didn't utilise alot of his new moves. EWGF, u1+2, diagonal u,f1-stance4(bound), diagonal u,f1-stance3,1,1+2 is a completely new a high damage combo off his staple launcher
@@adriancorkerball4464 What is diagonal u,f1-stance ? Edit: Nvm you mean mourning crow. You dont need to do diagonal uf to hit the chains u can just u1. And i think you wrote down the combo incorrectly i think you mean: EWGF -> u1+2 -> u1 stance 3 -> u1 stance 4 2 1+2 (78 dmg)
EWGF, u1+2, u1, 3, u1, 3, 2, 1+2 is a higher damage staple than these and also utilizes DVJ's new attacks. Not saying it should be used for every situation but it seems like it should be used instead of double electric at times.
After bound you can do up laser. It hits very late and you can get followups. After ws2 you can do u1+2 and easily connect 31 string after for good high damage combos
@@ShikiRyougi05 maybe the laser scales the damage much more, so creating longer juggles with it would not produce the most damage out of the most optimized combo. Again, that's just my speculation.

@@ShikiRyougi05maybe he just prefers 2 eletrics, I mean both jin and devil jin had a way to do more damage after ewgf with laser and zen 3+4 in tekken 7 but strangely enough I've never seen people do those routes, it's always 2x ewgf, people just like ewgf, it's that simple

To get ws3 after electrics do you crouch manually and do ws, or do you use cd cancel? If so does it have to be cancelled like an iws2, or the easy version like iws4?

Devil jin seems easy at first but to use him properly he's very difficult, without proper wave dash and good execution he's very tough to use

Why double electric instead of electric into laser?
I believe the laser pushes the enemy back so far that it will be harder to consistently chain moves after it. But that's all speculation from me.

I think heat engagers only engage on-hit in the neutral, aside from 2+3 manual heat engager which can be used mid combo
