And in Daft Punk, Avi is not only throwing some sound effects, but also matching Kev's drums with an edm bass line.
The audio was recorded in a closet in Avi and Kevin's shared LA apartment, and the video shot in their kitchen. $400 was the props and stuff (wig, makeup, contacts, smoke machine etc), the audio mixing/mastering and video editing cost more like any professional track/music video. Still incredibly cool no doubt.
I have to agree with all the other recommendations as Pentatonix never disappoints. I would like to add Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. It's a classical piece by Tchaikovsky; a song with no words sung by a band with no instruments.

If you ever hop into their origins rabbit hole - they performed on the Sing Off tv show back in 2011 - even way back then when Kirstie, Mitch, and Scott were all only 19 years old, one of the judges at one point said that 'he's tired of saying they are good' lol there are just no words for these beautiful talented angel unicorn aliens! I recommend next 'Bohemian Rhapsody', and if you want to get a taste of them live and hear some of their original work, check out 'Popspring 2016'. I’ll recommend some of their original music “Sing” , “ Can’t Sleep Love” or “Anchor”. They have lots of Christmas music so it is coming up on a great time to react to them.

Everyone seems to forget about La La Latch. It's a great mash-up and again, shows the group's skills in choosing songs that work well together and performing then wonderfully.
You and other people keep saying it's "just" their voices. There is no "just" when it comes to Pentatonix's voices. The whole is much greater than the sum of the parts when it comes to these incredibly talented people. And yet each is independently an incrediblely talented vocalist as well. The world is lucky to have them.

They do this live! I saw them in concert this summer, and there's a pretty good live video from the September 2022 Hollywood Bowl concert available here on RUclips. BTW, bass kick is Kevin (beatboxer) + Avi (vocal bass) + incredible timing.
Part of what your missing is Avi is throat singing covering two notes an octave apart and he is also the kick drum most of the time Kirstie also has whistle notes
They perform this live and you can watch one in order to understand they are Real and Insane. Their reverb and harmony percussion is awesome. They can do the record scratch/ skip live. Anything they do is awesome. After watching a live of this maybe Can’t Hold Us, Imagine, Mad World, and originals Love Agai, Coffee in Bed , Sing and Water. This is a huge rabbit hole to enter but just like Alice in Wonderland it is a journey worth taking.

If you're a fan of unbelievable acapella groups, PTX is obviously amazing, and you've done some VoicePlay reactions as well. But you should also check out Home Free. "Man of Constant Sorrow" is probably the standard "first reaction" song of theirs, but anything by them except their cover of "Mayday" (it's great, but you need to be familiar with the group to fully appreciate it) makes a great first reaction. They are (in my opinion) on par with Pentatonix in talent, but have their own distinctive style.
