Kiyoshi possibly had Osgood-Schlatter disease, which is common in teenage boys and usually affects the knees. We see him experiencing knee discomfort before suffering his real injury from Hanamiya (which of course made things vastly worse, otherwise he probably would've grown out of it after a year or two).
Tennis in middle school? I suspected it but now confirmed… he’s from Prince of Tennis. Sushi squad, you guys must watch this series.

I don’t think the vanishing drive would work. There’s no point sending someone else to cover the layup if you know it’s kuroko shooting.
The most absurd fact is that teams are actually even trying to mark Kuroko, if he can’t shot then you don’t even need to look at him, they should focus on the other 4 putting two players on Kagami. And the most ridiculous part is that everybody knows he can’t shot.
@@Kal911if you don't mark him he can make his passes, so marking him is right (in man-to-man defense).
However there's no reason to stay on him when he holds the ball lol. also he can't shoot, so no need to focus on the ball, which makes his vanishing drive not work (since it needs you to look at the ball).
Season 2 is where this anime become goofy ahh spacejam

Vanishing drive is far more realistic than Midorima shooting with 100% success rate from the other basket

I know anime is anime. But when it comes to sports anime, i want it close to reality. 😅 No super powers and sh*t. That's one of the reasons why KNB is not on my list of great sports anime.
I loved kuroko when it first came out but the more I rewatch the more ridiculous some scenes seem. I still think it’s a fun sports anime to switch your brain off to and enjoy but I agree the more realistic the better for sports anime

@@taylor099c8 i watched KNB when it came out, it's not bad. I enjoyed it but i keep reminding myself I'm watching ANIME so there will be exaggerations and super powers. 😅
If you want a sports anime thats close to reality. Ace of Diamond is a really good watch. No special power ups and no ridiculous scenes, if there are scenes that look exaggerated, its only to emphasize a certain play. But they dont do any ( super moves )They actually get real plays from real life games to make it more realistic
