When I was a kid I always wanted DJ hair and the picture of her with the overalls and hoops is my fave look. She was beautiful back then and she still is now. 💙

I was about thirteen when I got my first strapless dress. It was this chique shop in the now-defunct mall of my hometown and my dad had gotten me a gift card from there for my birthday, as he was taking me out to this really fancy French restaurant and I had to "look the part", so to speak, because he's kind of a big deal in my hometown. So, I pick it out - I remember it was white and lacy and really flowy and I felt like a total princess in it. My mom was not pleased and I had to find a blazer whenever I wore it around her because she said my arms are too chunky to be shown off. She hates it to this day whenever I wear anything strapless, and I'm in my mid-twenties.

I loved the scrunchie socks with gyms shoes and a miniskirt (which we would just call a skirt now adays). The hair was the time...where’s the pick and aqua net!
