Beat It Drum Fills - Michael Jackson | 🥁 Drums Only Practice Track | 60-144 bpm

In this video, we're working on the drum fills for Beat It by Michael Jackson. In the main part of the song, there is a variation that I'm calling the main fill here. It adds an extra bass hit and crash to the second measure of the main groove. It may not seem like much, but it can still be challenging to beginners.
The song actually begins with a drum machine only and the acoustic drums played by Jeff Porcaro enter with a variation of the main fill on the + of beat 3. Entering in the middle of a measure with a fill like that can also be challenging for some drummers so we start with that and then repeat the version of the fill at the end of the exercise.
Once you've mastered these, you'll be ready to play the whole song from start to finish.
