Absolutely awesome guide. Thank you. Managed to follow your guide to link Halo with Mailjet without Zapier or other middleware. Keep up the great videos!
This is excellent. Can you think of any way to leverage ticket types rather than just the individual tickets via the API? For instance, if you were to create a specific ticket type for a survey to send to customers. You post that in the service catalogue, they click on it and fill it out and then the information from the survey posts back specific information back into the CRM. The use case might be something like a Microsoft CSP integration, whereby you want the users to be able to update their own job titles by filling out a quick Halo form. That pushes back into Halo and then that pushes the data into CSP directly or into CIPP (and then into CSP). Potentially ridiculous question, I know!
So yes 100% achievable. Tomorrow I will create the video that shows me posting this data. You can simple decide where to post it to. The hard bit is just writing the API Post to the service I.E CSP to update the record :) We will hopefully get these built out over the next few months so you all can see how to do it :)
Thanks for the detailed video! I’m liking the bite sized chunks helps us NON-API types make sense of it all! Looking forward to the next section on posing data back! I’m assuming this can be done with any api endpoint not just halo correct?
Amazing tutorials! Do you know how we can connect to the API via an Azure Logic App? I want to post Sentinel alerts via the API as Halo tickets. Thanks.
Thanks so much for pushing out quickly!
You're so welcome!
