If these guys could make a game similar in stats to those games QVC was selling I think they would really corner the home market. Scale up the parts they use for these current ones, add a genuine ruleset, add extra stuff like multiball and ramps. It would be awesome.
Thanks buddy im the one who asked about the feet since mine didnt cone with them. Appreciate you measuring them for me. Ive been having a blast with mine never bought anything like this my wife looks at me like im crazy while im at the table playing with a toy haha.Got a sub bro.
Evil Genius Entertainment, Thanks for the follow up. Thought I'd drop by and let you know about my experience as I bought the Arcade version of this tabletop. First, the good. I love how this plays and the lighting is fantastic! For what it is, it's the most advanced and fun to play tabletop pinball machine I've ever played. Now to the main disappointment. Unlike the units you received, mine came with no stickers pre-applied. It came with a single sticker sheet and no instructions of where to apply each one. I'd pretty much have to look at the box to see where each one goes. And I haven't applied them as of yet, because I can see already how much of a pain it's going to be. These stickers are the type where once they touch something, they aint coming off. They're the cheap instant tear ones that you can't reapply if you make a mistake. For the $150 they charge for this, there's no reason these stickers shouldn't have come pre-applied. Not a dealbreaker by any means, it's a fun machine, but a huge disappointment for me. One quick caution I'd give you if considering raising the height of the back of the machine. When I first tried to play mine, I placed it on top of my Arcade1Up Attack From Mars VPin, which has a slight decline to mimic the look of a real pinball machine. The incline was just steep enough that the flippers of the Ambassador pinball machine weren't powerful enough to get the ball to the top of the playfield. I immediately took the Ambassador pinball machine and put it on a completely flat surface. Everything played flawlessly then. I think Ambassador knew exactly how high to construct the feet of their machine, so all the parts inside could work ideally on a flat surface. You can experiment for sure, but just know that I found out the actual limitation of the flipper strength. Thanks again for your continued coverage of this machine. You're first video was very helpful in helping me decide to pick it up. The only thing I think people will have to experience first hand is the motor sounds of the machine. Videos just don't relay how invasive they can come off. As I like to refer to it, hearing a vacuum cleaner revving up. I think this is going to be the most divisive thing on this machine, right behind having to affix all the stickers yourself. Hoping that Ambassador looks at ways to improve this on future iterations. Oh, and just one quick thing I found. You can actually play with the music off. The power switch actually has three levels, Off, On with no sound, and On with sound. If you move the power switch to the middle position, you can play it with just the lights and no music or sound effects. Have a great one! vgv
@@evilgeniusentertainment/videos/videos My Tomy Astro shooter pinball was my childhood toy but lost it when my family moved out from my childhood home. I bought an used one when I was older, which was lovingly taken cared of by the previous owner. So the toy has a lot of memories for me. Seeing this Pac-Man one make me very happy that there are decent mini pinballs out there, instead of the typical Amazon Chinese landfill.
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but BJ’s Wholesale Club currently has these for $59.99 this Black Friday. Considering that’s $120 less than what Target is charging, I figured I’d pick one up! Thanks for the review. This looks like a lot of fun!
If this company made a premium model, with more robust parts - that was noticeably quieter, I’d buy. I am not rich - but I will gladly pay extra, for quality.
As to whether they make a larger version in the future. Currently, the two tables they have released have been directly based on the Tomy produced atomic pinball and Astro shooter. For a third they would have to come up with something from scratch which could be a sticking point cost wise. I am excited for the pac-man one though and have one on order. ❤
I don't understand why but where I live in Canada the pac-man machine we have is the 3 years old machine for 80$...no idea why we don't have this version
You're not kidding. It's loud I bought one. It's Sam's Club and had to take it back. That motor was louder than a vacuum cleaner. The company reached out to me. I returned it, they got to do something to muffle. D the sound of that loud vacuum cleaner motor I mean loud, it is loud.
I stuck a 12" x 12" adhesive carpet tile on the bottom side. It cut the motor noise in half, maybe more. I also covered the speaker in foam tape. It's still loud enough. It's very tolerable now. I also played it on a bath towel for a day, and that worked quite well as a silencer also.
Hey brother! Long time...I've been healing from a kid on his phone turning left in front of me on my Harley on the way to the post office in September. Thought I'd catch up with half of my 2 favorite drunks! 🥃
Yo Mark - glad you're OK! Always awesome to hear from you! Yeah, the Warpig's coming over Friday, maybe I can convince him to do a Thanksgiving show....
Would have been nice if, in the gameplay section, you had your phone next to it running a decibel meter. As it is, it’s impossible to tell how loud the game is or isn’t just from a video recording, there is nothing to compare the sound to. We can’t tell if the microphone is just sensitive or if the game is actually loud, a decibel meter on your phone would give us a solid number. (ie, a real pinball clocks in about 90db, so is this thing 80db maybe? 70db? Would be nice to know.)
Well, that assumes you can find one (and one that works)! Round these parts any pinball machine that's decently priced gets snatched up almost immediately....
@@Super_Bros. It's probably the same pin being re-sold time and again! After reading your comment, I did do a Star Explorer search here in the Detroit area - no dice.
Growing up with the real deal I can not get excited over a toy version. Besides - it's not the Demolition Man pinball game, one of the best movie to game machines to grace the public.
It's just totally apples and oranges though... I mean, if you could buy something like the AtGames Micro ALP for $150, then maybe, but that thing is going for $449.
I got this off Amazon awhile ago. Its short, sweet FUN!😊 the sound effects, the bumpers, the MUSIC!! 9/10 (the 1 lost point? its because it only runs on 4 AA batteries). BTW, Price? $65 amazon after tax.
these have a bad grinding sound for the motor operating. don't buy. the motor sound is definitely the loudest of all the sounds IRL. this is damage control for my previous comment.
@jacksonwallace6211 so it's loud and not captured correctly in the video. That's all I'm saying. Nobody really cares about the old tomy pinball except for a small minority and most of us don't have experience with it. Sit down. Stop white knighting. I bought it and returned it same day.
Want the pacman one, but the constant "waka-waka" sound is a bit much. Love the other sound effects though. Any chance that is considered music and just the music can be turned off?
@@pc5440I'm really interested in this. Looks amazing. I have an arcade in my living room. If you have other machines making noise I'm sure this won't even register in all that noise but I do hear what your talking about.

There's 2 versions Ray - the "normal" size and the "Pro". I'm guessing the $60 one you saw at BJ's is the normal unit.
@@evilgeniusentertainment No, he's correct, it's the pro version. I sent the link to you in your Facebook messenger.
