From an artist: Instead of the blobs in the center of the lips, I would recommend a line down the middle of the bottom lip and draw a horseshoe at the bottom of the top lip to create that bubble effect. And the outer corners, make it more subtle and small but flip up like the cat eye. Might not give you the satisfying peel, but it'll work.
I think it’s mostly because her lips are already shaped like that naturally. Extending them out and up even further was just too much on her. It might look nice on someone else.

In the 90' and 00' you added a shade of glittery lighter shade lipstick or gel on the higher part of the lips to make make them pop more out. But basicly you used non-colored lip gloss always on top to get the different lipstick shades to get justice. And that way you made the big lips effect😅
Whatever I feel ugly. I just watch beauty content. I watch women with small lips. Try to make them bigger and I watch women with a big lips trying to make them smaller. I realize other women are just as confused as me😅

Try doing just the bottom of the outer corners. That’s what the girl in the reference clip did.
