Currently in the middle of an 8 Hour road trip driving home from Denver. I was sick of listening to music and thought I would just put on a RUclips video simply to listen to. I’d never thought to do that before. And wow. I’m not about to call this a coincidence. Thank you so much. Thank you so much.

"I know that dance because that's my dance"
I've been a fan of Josh for such a long time and love that he has his own channel now.
The point about being honest with people about how you feel around them as opposed to placating them hit me so hard.
Awesome new channel Josh, you're producing amazing content!

    Thanks for this video.
I can’t believe how much you’ve taught me over the years. I basically learned how to cook from Brothers Green when I found their videos when I was 20, and now at 27 you’re teaching me about some super relevant life lessons.
I never commented all these years, but I really just had to say thank you

I resented my mom for things that went wrong. We sat down one day and i started listing the big things.
Her reply was “I did the best a I could do with what I knew”
Instantly I loved her even more, let the past be the past and we became best friends and hang out all the time.
She sacrificed so much for me that I can finally recognize.
    It’s worth forgiving

I love this video, Josh! I appreciate you sharing this information as I’m on my self-betterment journey as many others are. So good! 🙂 Yeah, I’m so used to being the always “good” girl, I just wanna help others too, but I’ve just had people take and I know our relationships haven’t been real as they have faded away. Lol my next step is finding an outlet to find friends as I just work and have my fiancé. I’m in a bubble right now and I can’t wait to get out. Lol one day I’ll set myself free, well when I’m ready for it.

i am sometimes confused between knowing my own truth about how I feel and taking something "personally". It seems like a fine line doesn't it?

    • @YOUENJOYLIFE
      @YOUENJOYLIFE  5 лет назад +1

Susan Rivard a very fine line until you get clear on what truth really means to
You. What good does taking something personal do? The deeper you break down who you are and the Ideas abs beliefs that you have, the more you’ll realize you didn’t have much to stand on, that your beliefs come from places other than within and by seeing them clearly you can actual free yourself from them and create something new that really benefits you.

@@YOUENJOYLIFE Hi. thanks for answering. To be more specific, my 21 year old grown up son coming back home to live with me has upset me. I missed my child soo much when he lived elsewhere on his own for a a bit, and tried all the time to make plans to spend time with him going out for lunch and having a conversation . To keep relationship with him. This never happened. He never bothered to make it happen. Now that he is here again. (because his landlord changed his small apt into a larger more expensive one), he has abruptly come home, and I'm suffering from the same triggers he causes , after having let them go . His ADD need to be a night owl and come and go as he pleases and not communicate ANYTHING, not even his work schedule with us, well, that triggers a lot of resentment that has to be let go of moment by moment! I'm being woken up all the time and that affects MY ability to work in my job effectively. So I guess this is all less about what he says ( because he seldom talks to us LOL) and more about the fallout we endure from his actions.... Anyway I am writing too much. Thanks for listening! It helps.

Incidentally - do you play the bodhran or is it just there on the wall for decoration? (I instinctively trust bodhran players.)

Mike is sort of overpowering in the relationship.
Josh isn't claiming his "personal power" and setting boundaries because he is still caught in the younger misunderstood brother role. Mike is a very responsible but security driven personality who expects dependability out of people. And even though Josh isn't taking himself seriously and is stuck in a "clown role" he is slightly more authentic than Mike.

It's a controversial topic for sure, but I think psychedelic drugs and Moderate amounts of marijauna can be a very helpful tool for many when it comes to self-healing and development. I know for a fact that it has helped me see what damaging issues of my life actually was, while I had none else around to help me see it. I wouldn't blame so much on the "drugs"
