No not necesserally. Legally they are still they own person and have their own idividuality, their own names etc... So one can express consent whereas the other can express her disagreement. The real question is how does it work in everyday life ?

Everyone tries to make this situation seem and look as if it’s so normal and great. It’s not. If in less complicated circumstances things are hard, one can only imagine what their life is really like. The fact that “one” of them got married is very disturbing to me. In my eyes, it’s a perversion and I can’t come to terms with the fact that one man married one of them knowing they are stuck together. Sorry, probably not the most popular comment since everyone always wants to say what everyone wants to hear, but the truth is that it is horrible.

Is it really fair to say that they should never get to experience love or intimacy or have children some day if they want to? They didn't ask to be born that way. But they deserve happiness just like anyone else.

If you could swap brains with somebody, the real you would be your brain in the other person’s body. This is not one person with two heads: this is two people who just happen to be connected.
I would say he is married to them both and they are both married to him. Paperwork is just paperwork. THEY ARE ALL MARRIED to each other.
