So basically how you get the old goro to the new version is to download the old version of arbs before the goro update and you save the old goro the giant update your game than go to your saved creations than you'll find your old goro.
Someone has uploaded the old goro to the workshop before update so you can now download it
I took one of my creations, the king goro, and and took all of its armour and stuff off of it, then I saved it.

You can download workshop units from steam directly but some units are private mods created by those channels
