Do people realize the scope of what he accomplished? 9 higher ranked golfers had to withdraw just for John to get in. Driving across the country, just in case, no cellphones, no GPS. Then he gets in last minute, no practice round, never played the course, and beats 155 of the best pros at the ripe old age of 25
Wow, no matter he went nuts with his money. Truly a zero to hero story

John drove most of the night just to get there, eating McDonalds and stopping for gas.
Very humble guy to say the least, Hell yeah his life changed. He didn’t drive through the night anymore and got practice rounds but continued to eat McDonalds and upped his eating game to Hooters 😅. I met John at the Masters one year. Great guy, like talking with an old friend. So many other players were damn snobby toward me. Not knowing who I was and that didn’t matter to John anyway. Because of that his autograph is by far my favorite, he took time with his fans as I watched from afar. Good guy!
Also, in a book he wrote: “ All my Ex’s wear Rolex’s”. Great sense of humor. I’ve since heard he’s a great Father.

Hi John. If you are reading this. I want you to know that as far as I am concerned; you have the best and largest swing arc in the golf business. Your father giving you those heavy clubs actually trained your triceps muscle of both arms for extension and great potential elastic energy at the top of your swing at an early age. Think about it! In your golf swing you naturally fold both your arms at the top of your swing in the same way a weight lifter does with a single dumbbell bell overhead extension as he works on the triceps muscle of both his arms. Because of this early stage of development in your swing's muscle memory; you have done this subconsciously in your golf swing throughout your life. At 71 years old, it took me over 35 years to finally figure out your swing; and, I am finally doing it now with great success. Now if only I could add an extra 125 yards in my swing. Ah to be young again. Thanks for being you my man And, God Bless!!!
