I’m a NICU nurse. I took care of countless babies for adoption.Most of them stay in our unit for months so I would always, always make sure to find time for them and would even stay off the clock sometimes if my shift was too busy to hold them, dance with them or even read a book because it really hurts to know that these little ones don’t have anybody to call theirs. So when, eventually, the foster/adoptive family comes, you feel relief like no other because then you know that the babies would be loved and taken cared of as they should. Now, I’m going through the same process as you guys. Soon, I will have my son and I’m over the moon, in love with him already. Thank you for opening up your home and hearts for these little ones. You truly are a blessing.
Thank you so much for taking the extra time for our babies ❤️ We always called our son’s NICU nurses his first mom’s because his birth family wasn’t there through the tough times and we didn’t know he existed till he was 4 months old. Eventually we got to meet his NICU nurses at a reunion and it was a sob fest. I made a poster with a photo of him in the NICU and one nurse ran over and said “he was my baby!!” She was so happy to see him adopted and doing so well. So thank you from the bottom of my heart

What a lovely story especially when the little boy hears for the first time. I too had premature twin babies & I believe Jesus help them , now both married with own children. All the best 👍 from South Australia
