I taught my little sister (who’s 11 years younger) how to swim when she was 2 on our RV trip across the US (lots of KOA pools lots of time). It’s not easy and I spent hours in the pool doing laps with her. Kylie clearly put the time in and she should be proud.

In Sweden we have to learn how to swim, we have no choice. It’s a part of our PE, if you can’t swim 200 meters (without touching the pools bottom) in 7th grade you’ll automatically fail PE no matter how good you are in every other sport.
Exactly I have met maybe one person in my life who didn’t know how to swim and it shook me to my core. And now there’s all these people in the comments who don’t know how to swim? You never want to experience the ocean? Go on a boat? What if there was someone drowning? You would just have to stand there and watch. I thought everybody knew how to swim until I was like 12-13. I cannot imagine never swimming
