- Is your STIHL equipment pull rope not starting your engine and does it feel like it’s not catching or has no resistance?
Your pawls could be swelling to the point where they are sticking and not springing out. This will cause your rope starter to not engage your engine, thus not starting it.
This fix could be all you need to get you back to work! It’s easy and inexpensive to boot!

Bro.... Everything I own is Stihl and I own 3 saws, a leafblower, 2 trimmers as well as a whack of dealer merch .... I even wear a Stihl shirt in my upcoming video!..... When you live in the sticks like me, it's important to be able to do this stuff for yourself due to the amount of gear you need to own, great video!

@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser I honestly did. I’ve got 1 daughter that I adopted from my brother when she was about 2. She graduated HS last week and we had her party last Saturday + her Marines acceptance/ send off party (I couldn’t have cared less about Father’s Day)… It was truly my proud parent weekend.
Sunday, she woke me up with gifts / candy, and a tear jerker card (that I wasn’t allowed to read in front of her so she wouldn’t get embarrassed…. Understandable).
Life is great and my legacy couldn’t have made me more proud along with respect, understanding, and appreciation for my efforts in my years of raising her.
I truly never considered myself a dad till last Saturday.
