Thanks a lot for making such a beautiful piece which doesn't only speaks about the technical side of the artwork but also, explains the context in which it was made. Also gives us an opportunity to know about the artist little bit more.
I can’t believe after all these years, I am able to talk about a dream I had many years back when I was in my 20’s. Every time I see this painting I get goosebumps and my hair stands up. In my dream I walked along a dirt road and came along this exact bridge, I even saw the boats in the water below. This is the bridge that leads to heaven, I saw 2 people in front of me and another man behind them , and then me. There was a bridge toll keeper and he let the 2 people pass on bridge but the man behind them was stopped and he was told NO YOU CAN NOT PASS, he turned and turned towards me and SCREAMED. I proceeded to pass on the bridge because I saw the beautiful city on the other side. It was golden, but I was stopped and when I looked up, it was my grandfather. He said no you can’t pass now it’s not your time and then I woke up I never knew of this painting or the name or anything. I stumbled upon it and I knew, that was my dream .
