Those are some might fine looking babies! I like to have a variety of colors in my chickens. Just something so relaxing watching them out in the yard.

Great video! When I was young my sister and I received two chicks. We lived in the city. We treated them with lots of love. My sister’s chick grew to be a hen. Mine however was a rooster. It would sit on my lap and enjoy to be loved. Once it started crowing I had to give it up. I called one zoo and the reply was that sure we would take our rooster. The snakes would love it. I was traumatized with that. I called another zoo and it was a petting zoo which took my roster. Glad I found a home for him. Chickens are fun to have.
I’m glad you found a good home for him. They can be loud and city folks don’t understand the beauty of the sound of a rooster crowing

That was so much fun watching them with the live crickets. If you want to see them lose their minds. Walk in there with a handful of cooked spaghetti noodles and bounce it around a few times 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. P.S. You definitely want to video the action. Just sayin😂😂😂

Makes me miss my chickens. My favorites we had were some gray & some white Cochins. They are a very sweet & easy to raise chicken and also I had a Brown Leg Horn named Henrietta that was my baby. She would always be in my lap going to sleep. 😊🐔🐥

I had 10 laying hens and two roosters and a coyotes got them so I'm holding off this year to get me some more

Coop ready! Congratulations! They look great! I had forgotten the sound they make at that age. Chickens are so much fun. I got a chuckle out of Nancy's "...backyard chickens..." Some backyards are bigger than others. I love that yard you set up for them! I especially liked the varied treats and vegetable tetherballs. I do that for my chickens too.

I love y'all. What I would give to live on a farm like that again. I raised chickens it was a blast they just loved my kids they were like puppies they learn when you came out there you always had something for him if it was just love they would be waiting for you
Yes indeed. When they hear our screen door shut they come running to the gate. Our front door is at least 100 yards from the chicken yard. They are really dialed in on us especially Nancy. She always has a little treat for them and she talks a lot to them. Bing Bing is very jealous of them and hates them. We have to watch him very closely so he don’t get in the chicken yard when we open the gate. He will definitely kill them🐶
I really like Buff Orphingtons, nice calm manner, but they aren’t bossed around by other breeds.

I missed the chickens I had too I loved the fresh eggs. We had bard rock, white ones leghorn ( I think) , road island reds, I also ended getting pullets because most of mine ended being roosters so I was taught how to process my own chickens. I thought that was also one of the best chickens I've ever eaten. I really like your channel.

Your setup is awesome! Love how you do things. Your girls are so healthy and pretty... Wow, live crickets!!! They love these... They will love the watermelon. My daughter gives hers watermelon and they love it!!! They sure do like the peaches ...
They also LOVE live minnows. We give them our left over minnows when we come in from fishing.

Yeah, chickens love peaches! Ours flew into my van to peck at the two bushels I picked for us. In half an hour they ate almost 1/2 a bushel!
