Methinks Handel pinched some of this music for one of his own compositions. It's early enough CPE-B for it to be possible. I can't for the world of me think of which Handel aria it reminds me of.

Result = flat, slow, nasal sound not to mention that the sound is so labored that there is little chance to create stress and emphasis in the phrasing. Of course then everything sounds like everything else. Pure turge, like a river of tar.
