Personally unedited with commentary is preferred, it allows for complete context surrounding why you have done certain things during the gameplay that otherwise might not be so obvious.
I personally like these because it shows you the true flow of the map. I get that it might not to as well with the algorithm due to a lot of people not having the time to invest in watching the whole thing, but you can post these videos for me. Thanks. 🤣 Well done as always Commander.
Thank you. I suppose it is hard for me to understand what people want to know exactly since I've been doing this for so long. I'll get some more uploaded in time, they don't take much time to prepare.
@@commandercrane1945 I look forward to seeing more of these videos. But just for you to be aware (my perspective), what is appreciated about your videos is observing your unconventional commanding technique. There are other videos on RUclips of how to command, but your very aggressive method isn’t something that the other RUclipsrs showcase. Also, edited down videos make it harder to gauge how long it takes for each in-game tactic you show to be implemented in real time.
@@MightyFineMan Ah yes, my skips are usually not very much, but overall they add up and make a 45 min video much shorter. And yeah I’m very aggressive when I need to be which is most of the time.
Really enjoyed this longer, unedited video. I understand you have to do the other style for the algorithm but one of these every once in awhile would be truly awesome! It really helps those of us who are aspiring to command to watch the thought process and second by second actions of one as talented as yourself. Have a great afternoon!
What i like most is that there isnt constant firefights;. there's time to travel and plan and think. it really makes the battles and fire- fights more exciting.
Lmaoo that's what got me hooked on this game. Some players are playing fortnite on the point laying down barb wire, the commander is playing an RTS, the rifleman are playing battlefield. When all of these things come together is when hell let loose truly shines
Im new to the game. Have been playing with nephews who told me how to play wrong. Now that im on the right track, should nodes be made at the beginning of the match? Also, can you only make nodes at the beginning hqs or can they be made out in the field anywhere if the supplies arw there
Make nodes ASAP. The sooner the better. You can make nodes in any controlled sector. Just if that sector is captured, the nodes are destroyed. That is why people tend to build them in the HQ
If I'm playing support I'll drop my first supply box the second I spawn, gives them at least one node and I'll have another box by the time I get to the line
I would love more unedited matches. It really helps me appreciate the big moments more, actuallly. Also, what's your take on that back-cap garry you originally placed for their last point on Mammut Radar? I feel like it's possible La Grande would've been capped sooner if squadleads hadn't jumped on that last point. I always try and avoid having SLs try and backcap unless they're recon. But I'd like to hear your thoughts about the strat. Thanks
Hey, I got two wishes. Can we get games like this, with little cuts like freezes and spawn times, but also some commentary, why you are doing some stuff :) Secondly why didn't you asked for notes in command chat? I like beeing commander, but we all know it's no fun without resources Keep up the good work and see ya on the front line😊
Yeah, I can do that next time I do this. I did ask for nodes. At the beginning, I saw two engineers get in the middle supply truck, so I figured it was going to be done. Most people in this server were high level, so usually they just do it.
I personally prefer your edited ones, but this game also give good perspective on how you flow through the match. Is it easier to post this wholesale than it is to edit it? It might be worth it anyway if it saves on time.
Editing takes a lot more time, but I think it makes videos much better for most people. Most people that watch a video are just going to watch for a few minutes when it comes to video games.
@@commandercrane1945 Fair. I'm not familiar enough with the youtube algorithm, I know long-form content can be really popular but I'm not really sure what makes it popular. Guess you'll know based on how this vid looks in a few days.
@@teiasoserevi Just how engaging the video is. Most people don't want to watch something where you have to wait for me to walk from point A to B. But some do, so I will try to make videos for both. Videos like this take almost no time to make. I'd have more edited videos out too right now, just busy with work lately.
Because I can make a garrison with a truck instead in the blue. And it is a 100% garrison, whether we lose the initial cap or take it, it becomes a garrison later. Later on, the enemy may see the drop and take it out. At the start, that is your one time to drop supplies anywhere without the enemy knowing.
Sir, when someone is good at something, people would watch that for a very long time without interruptions. Believe us, we would watch you play for two hours unedited if it's possible. 🫶
Thank you for this, it gives a much better view into the decision making.

Yes, I have heard people say that. I'm not sure if most people are looking for that, but I can do this sometimes. We'll see how this video does.
Second this request
@@commandercrane1945do you ever live stream? I don't usually watch them live but the vods are nice

Content is always worth it!
As someone who is trying to practice the commander role as much as possible, your unedited videos are greatly appreciated and definitely studied.

Thank you. Yes I will post these now and then. It is definitely easier than editing for several hours.
Great video man, love how you communicate so calmly.
I always hate when the commander is screaming so no one can hear anything… so I try to not do that. Lol
Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing TL's comp matches in their entirety.
I'll keep that in mind. Just may be a bit more difficult since I'd have to edit the audio if discord chat is too much.
@@commandercrane1945 Been there. Discord gets pretty hectic. Especially during a sweaty match.
had the pleasure of having crane as my squad leader the other night, also i enjoy this unedited type of video and the time stamps :)
I agree, the unedited are way more educational. Thank you for the content!

I like them with commentary because I take notes as I just started playing the commander role
Unedited is always better it allows for complete information. It gives better understanding for each choice made
i like it when you talk though, its cool to see how you play the commander role
I feel like mixing these videos in on occasion will greatly add to your channel.
I like this some of us don’t get to go by the name of commander yet
Yes this is nice
I love long hell let loose videos
So this all is happening in the background, while I am playing rifleman level 1

Curious: how come you drop supplies in neutral zone for a possible Garry, rather your own zone for a 100% Garry?
