10:00 your first conversion burns a third of your HP and you keep doing it until it costs you the game. Youre also exhausted at 10:27 so like... even if you got the next hit and used your awakening you still wouldnt have gotten the kill. I main berserker too and its heartbreaking sometimes. You do some beastly combo and you eat your own hp more than the damage you output. Kinda sucks. Thinking about picking up a new char if he dosent get buffed.
I actually think they should just buff the awakening passive so you get more HP back. Would make it really risk reward to drop your HP then start stealing it back. Right now his passive is just outclassed by others like Hitman
My guy what? Berserker has insane combo damage, range, instant over head fuzzies and grab set ups to get all his white health back. On top of that thanks to berserk mode you get a free high low mix up after every hard knockdown and 400 damage combos any where on screen. And you think he needs buffs? And you’re going to drop him?? Edit: he also has some of the best guard damage and block strings in the entire game

Berserker should get pressure and same big damage and safe from DP pressure just like anyone else! No one should get to be more dangerous anywhere anytime! Berserker end his pressure with such obvious moves and situations. While many other character have such insane distance pressure that as soon as there is a little bit of distance they rain down hell or demands WAAAAY too much respect. That same respect should be just as cheap for every single character. And Berserker should be able to roll and punish everyone else4 just as easy and RPS as anyone can roll and punish Berserker.

Berserker should get to counter everyone just as easy and just as hard with no more effort or sacrifice than they can counter him with. When I see people spamming buttons and DP on Berserker.. then Berserker should be able to do the same for the same rewards against any other character. There will never be a balanced fighting game ever... pathetic. Without true balance there can never be true competitiveness.
@@FrankTheDoomriderJohansen Except you aren't arguing for balance, you are arguing for Homogeneity, if everyone has the same strengths and weaknesses in every category, then everyone is the same character with the only difference being visual. Different characters must have different strengths and weaknesses for there to even be a reason to have different characters. Balance comes from having those different strengths and weaknesses weighed and adjusted between every character. This is also why there will always be good and bad matchups, because if a characters strength lines up with another characters weakness they will have an inherent advantage in that match.

Which character has an easier path to do what they do vs those who do not? Many nuances to take into account based upon each matchup but many are easy to spot imo. The basic fundamentals needs to work against the whole cast. If not then why even have it?

10:10 Berserker is the only chracater in FG who can do more damage to himself than the opponent with one combo
his life drain is almost the same gameplay as A.B.A in guilty gear ac tho
Which is why I will NEVER EVER put Berserker high tier. He needs to sacrifice so much just to do what others can do for free.

has to be on a very high hit of 5s, and have to hold up after 5ms to get the jump cancel its very tight

Because they give him conversions.
He actually does an insane amount of white chip damage. One true confirm and you lose 50%
