For me it’s needs the special pieces taken away from it. If it sucks up say a red bomb it will only put red pieces around not the special piece.

I'm probably not good at explaining. I usually use the mini cleo to pick up yellow mushrooms to increase the multiplier. And sorry for the late reply.

How does that booster work? I mean When I match the bug with blue it just randomly select another colour to fill it in or how?
If you match insects to any color, you get that color. If paired with a bomb, you will explode that color.
