I’ve got a cuddle and I’ve ordered a new body for him and I’ve NEVER taken part a reborn and I’m really protective over them so I’m so scared to do something wrong or take him apart and not get him back together again! I’m still scared but this was brilliant and I’ve saved it for when his new body arrives. 💛
I randomly found your channel yesterday via the first vid you did on creating this baby, subbed for support as your work is amazing...seeing the finisbed doll is actually pulling at the heart strings lol...i know its a doll but its so beautifully done ❤

I really like the idea of using a cuddle body with the buttons/fasteners. I also struggle with sewing the limbs closed on cuddle babies. Do you have a link for where to get a cuddle body with the fasteners?
You can get a basic starter kit with everything you need for around £150. Obviously buying in bulk reduces these costs per doll, although the sculpt has an influence on the price (cheapest are around £50, up to around £120).
I use recycled steel discs from Peacock Fibres. They're heavier than using glass and I prefer them for the body and head weighting as they don't get through the tights.
