I just completed a personal retreat at the Samadhi Center, and it was absolutely life changing. The most important retreat of my life without a doubt. I experienced significant healing of the body and mind and awakened to True Self in a way that no other experience or teaching has ever provided after decades of seeking. Dan Schmidt's instruction as well as the sacred and safe context of the forest and the gorgeous meditation space were incredible, and the food provided by Jerome was delicious and nurturing. I will be forever grateful.
I plan to get there some day when I move back east. The Samadhi videos and meditations have touched my soul....and the space and guidance at the center in Ontario look amazing. Om OM OM
Dan Schmidt is a true legend , he's helped so much on my journey and inspires me to have a similar space , a peaceful retreat away from distractions, yet surrounded by all.
I am so new to everything, including having come upon Daniel Schmidt,and Awaken the World and I recently read it, when there is another retreat, all the people who have been waiting previously, would, of course, have the first consideration. I’ve always been too scared to do anything like that scared of what my mind might show me scared of some of the feelings that would have, but I feel ready to explore and take that risk. I feel like there are little prisons inside of me that I need to be free of . I know being in a place like this center would be a miraculous experience and I am hoping not really hoping but staying in this sense of faith in now that that will happen one day I’m sometimes am reading comments from 9 years ago on many of the films even here they are from years ago A long and winding path. I wish to join others on
I pray I have and will have accumulated enough good merit to visit this centre to learn truth and find greater depths of compassion. Thank you respects

It was some 8 years ago that I saw your movies and I don’t remember how I started meditation. But I am always drawn to you. I had left meditation for past years, but for past months I was again drawn to meditation. And again I was drawn to you. I am trying to cultivate through the 4 samadhi meditations of yours. I wish I could meet you someday, just be silent with you, I don’t have any questions per se. Or maybe I don’t know the questions, but I know I will be answered by your silence. It says it's in McArthurs Mills, ON. So, it's on the Eastern side of Canada. Which is 200km west of Ottawa, and 200km east of Toronto. New York is the closest state to it.
Dr. Lad is a wonderful awakened being whom I have had the pleasure of meeting at his Ayurveda Center/school. Since he himself teaches the path to Samadhi at his school (as do all true meditation teachers) I have to assume that if he said it mockingly then he must have meant that the teaching of Samadhi cannot be systematized or institutionalized, which is totally true. There are places where the ancient teachings have become ritualized and robotic, without awakened consciousness. The Samadhi Center is not a school or place for intellectual learning- it is a place for those to find at a certain point on their journey when they are ready to die before they die.
If you are looking to know yourself and find a way out of suffering towards health, true happiness and inner peace, the Samadhi Center will be an invaluable stop on your journey. I speak from experience as I have attended several retreats with Dan at the Samadhi Center and many other retreats around the world with great teachers including Tolle, Mooji, Shinzen Young and Goenka (Vipassana). ❤️🙏

@@GeAspirin I have attended two 7 day retreats with Dan, one silent retreat and one iboga assisted meditation retreat. It is difficult to put into words the impact these have had other than to say they were a significant part of my long journey out of immense suffering and in to health, happiness and best of all, inner peace. I would say that at worst, you will have a few days in beautiful surroundings experiencing others doing their inner work, and at best it will be a key part of your journey, as it was with me.

I would suggest not overthinking it because you will never know until you experience it for yourself. I encourage you to do it and find out for yourself if this is for you. 🙏
