  • This is another monologue that I couldn't find any JP versions for on RUclips, so I ended up translating by ear. These are a few words of wisdom from Hikigaya, with subtitles in English and Japanese.
The next video SHOULD be Kiyotaka Ayanokoji's speech from the beginning of "Classroom Of The Elite" since I can't find a good JP one on YT.

I haven't watched this series and doesn't even know about this dude, but the things he said are too much of a reality. I completely understand you my man. "People who are nice to me, are also nice to everyone else" this line is super relatable to me, I unfortunately know how much pain it causes when you realise such a simple thing. Well I think 'unfortunately' might be a wrong term because the kind of world we live in, such things happening are totally obvious and logical and yet, we close our eyes to the truth like we would actually be able to get away from it.

I HIGHLY recommend that you watch, it's interesting to see all the different personalities interacting with Hachiman.

I love this show and this little speech he has here. Some people forget Japan has a totally different approach on politeness and interacting with others, you're just expected to have these interactions and have nice interactions. It's just him saying "Don't confuse someone being nice for them wanting to have an actual meaningful connection with you beyond those niceties"

Same, but I'm disappointed. It's like he's reading some message with little emotions. Dub one sounds great

@@shinning123 I agree!, thats why Hachiman's eyes are like that, like that of a deadfish. Takuya Eguchi is the better VA. I really like it. it was hard to find a video of this that wasnt Dubbed.

If you actually know what maturity is, you wouldn't say that, actually no, not even then, it's such a simple thing.
