I’m one of those people that actually like Grease 2 more than the original, it’s much fun. It was one of my mom’s favorite movies and we watched it almost every night before bed. I can still quote almost every line. We owned probably 8 copies of it on VHS, my mom wore through like 3 or 4 of them. Great childhood memories with that one.
My Friday the 13th (‘09) 4K just came in today as well. Can’t wait to check it out! Also you’re making me want to start collecting VHS. I don’t need another thing to collect!
I am so jealous! I've been off work and waiting on a surgery since August 4th (it's finally been scheduled for Monday), and I've been forced to cancel several Omnibus & 4K pre-orders. I can't wait to get this over with so that I can hurry up and get what I've been missing!
I watched Stardust in the theater when it came out and was blown away. Nobody ever talked about that movie which was mind-boggling to me. Recently, it seems to have gotten some more recognition. Still, totally underrated masterpiece!
Dude, I love finding some nice VHS movies. You got some sealed with stamps, nice. Also I find it funny that your VHS have the number six, seven and eight in the titles. Great pick ups.
Nice haul. I actually found the Friday 13th 2009 4K at a Barnes and Noble today. I heard it's OOP, so who knows when, if ever Arrow will re-release it again in the future. And, yeah, I've also been after VHS tapes, including sealed ones with stamps. It's a lot of fun finding/collecting them. I have multiple copies of Godzilla 1985 on VHS (not sealed), for example, since its never gotten an official release on DVD or Blu ray (just the original Japanese version).
I almost got that V chunky box, but I already had the standard 4K that I got for ten bucks from a gruv sale. Great movie though, I’m not certain I’ve seen it before so it was a nice surprise. We probably haunt the same Movie Trading Company stores, I keep wondering if I’ll spot you there someday. 😅
V FOR VENDETTA is $93.00,.....STARDUST, one of my favorites. I got the American steelbook, The artwork is awesome. There's another steelbook version, slightly different that I am waiting on.
Curious your thoughts on the Aliens 4k. I just watched the 30th Anniversary bluray and it looks pretty damn amazing, so not sure if its even really worth the upgrade? I have the same "worries" about the Terminator 4k; the bluray looks so damn good not sure what more the 4k can add. But i still pre-ordered the steelbook. Will be the only JC film i have on 4k.
Are either of the casablanca's the colorized versions I know there are versions of the brown one that say Colorized version on back I have always heard how bad the colorized is but still have yet to see for myself
@@jonahlers1026 I don’t think so, my 1st vhs with the white cover is BW, & I havnt opened the sealed black cover Casablanca it it shows BW images on the back. I’ve never seen the colorized version either
Now I feel like getting some vhs’s this week haha. Great haul!
@@CyberManor thanks man!! Yea keep VHS alive! 📼💯
